A pretty recent pose by Joy Forsyth has really got people talking-in fact, so damn cool. The clip showed Forsyth and company jumping on the bed at midnight, laughing uncontrollably, and having a blast. Captioned “Who is jumping on the bed at midnight?,” followed by four emojis of older women-a very intentional gesture of glorification of living-were set. But then, not everyone was in clapping mode.

The wild montage of old ladies bouncing about and barely holding on has gone through many edits. Some viewers enjoyed watching and said, ‘Love this! You ladies are so much fun!’ Another one said, ‘Epic…looks like so much fun! 😂.’ The clip filled the room with positive spirit, and many proceeded to say things such as, ‘This just made my heart super happy today!’ and ‘I need this in my life.’
Then there’s the ill-assuming side. Another commenter, appearing to be on the unhappy side, wrote, ‘Maybe I’m no fun. But somehow jumping on other people’s furniture just seems disrespectful and not being a good steward. There are 101 ways to enjoy a girls night and make a cute video without treating another person’s belongings this way.’ This comment sparked a fiery debate in the comment section. Some agreed vehemently (‘As the owner of several rental properties this behavior is totally disrespectful!’), while others shot back with answers such as, ‘Looks like fun and not disrespectful at all! My kids would always do this on vacation! Let her have fun!’
Just before another advocate for Forsyth entered the fray, things became intense: ‘Joy Forsyth is everything EXCEPT disrespectful! Video editing is smoke and mirrors! Joy is in fact a Gracious Godly lady.’ Keeping in the sarcasm, another replied, ‘Yes, shortly after this video the whole bed fell apart. Not before they burned a cigarette hole into it though of course. You seem fun.’
Half the fun in-between was watching some concentrate mostly on licking the altruistic spirit. One pointed out there was a search bar at the very top of the video that read, “Joy Forsyth’s midlife crisis!”-which had everyone else cracking. Another one was praising the editing: “AMAZING.” Someone else pondered out loud: “I’d love to know how long it took to film/edit this. 😂”
The video has tugged one heart or the other for pure unleavened joy, on one side, or the uproar on the other. Forsyth has given another lively answer to life and didn’t seem bothered by the mixed reception. And really, isn’t this what moments like these are all about?

There’s an opinion for everything on the internet, but one thing agreed upon is how Joy Forsyth and friends know how to paint the town red. By now, the clip has surely created a demarcation line between team ‘Jump away!’ and team ‘Respect the furniture!’ Late-night bed jumping session, anyone?
