Kathy Hilton shouts loud and clear: Christmas cheer is coming early this year! The reality star and socialite joined QVC for their Christmas in July sale and presented the merriest and most festive decorations to send everyone out scrambling to put on some tinsel and pour eggnog. Like, right now!

Kathy gave an Instagram posting spree for the sale, perched alongside huge nutcracker figures, elegant blue and white ornaments, and what she claimed to be lavish Bethlehem Lights. The caption was so wild that it read like a holiday shopping list on steroids: “Feeling merry & bright with my @QVC team! Dive into the Christmas in July sale, now live on QVC.com and enjoy amazing deals and jolly steals!”
And she threw in #ProudlyQ50 because, by following the hashtag, it seems QVC has a fourth loyalty level? Who knew?!
The comment section turned into a mini North Pole as everyone freaked out over those early Christmas vibes. Someone screamed from one corner: Kathy looks “so young and gorgeousssss,” which is fair. Another insisted on the dire necessity of a Christmas tree in July, which is either peak festive spirit or a cry for help. Hard to say.
Against the crowd ready to deck the halls, one user from Pittsburgh threw a cold splash of reality at Kathy: “Looking good Kathy, but for God sake’s not Christmas yet I live in Pittsburgh easy for you to say lol.” The actual battle between seasonal depression and holiday cheer, literally.
The real MVP: “Yeah we should nix the blue balls jk” — unashamedly referencing those blue balls ornaments (actual product name: blue and white balls). We know Kathy hasn’t answered yet, but we’re hoping she’ll clutch this accidental innuendo kiss and run with it into her next year’s collection.
For now, the most insane pitch came in from Tiffany of “Tiffany’s Wreath Co.”: “I swear to you, I think I happy if my work was in your home. Trust me, look at my account you won’t be disappointed.” Bold move, Tiffany. Now, let’s see if it pays off.
Always that one to ruin a party, here it is. Sometime during the comments, the Michael Jackson fan just kept throwing Liberian Girl references, more like an utterly dysfunctional Spotify playlist. Social media, y’all are wacky.
The Christmas in July sale is old-hat, but Kathy’s really going with it, and all in her flambuoyance. Hangover or no hangover from the Fourth of July, you’re going to hear a lot about Kathy this holiday season and now this.
As comments indicated, people tend to either vehemently support or outright condemn the idea of Christmas in the summer. But with deals on everything from Harry Slatkin candles to supersized presents (not technically measured), they are hard to resist. Maybe just wait till August to put up the tree, yeah? Unless you are Kathy Hilton, in which case it is probably decorated and serving eggnog martinis by the pool.
