Dah! Serious hair wisdom got dirtied in an utter mess by Lisa!!! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had a guest appearance by the celeb hair stylist, Gregg Lennon Jr., in an episode of the mini-series The Real Hairstylists of Beverly Hills, courtesy of Sephora. The little take shows Rinna in full diva mode searching everywhere for that one precious item of Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer before she knew that she could get it delivered the same day via Sephora. Instant gratification!

This clip perfectly shows Rinna’s antics as she screamed for Gregg while she declares with dramatics: “I’m out!” because she couldn’t find her holy grail. The stylist, quite calmly, said, ‘We can just order it through Sephora same-day,’ to which Rinna sharply exclaimed, ‘Perfect!’ Less than 30 seconds later-I tell you-it was the most entertaining 30 seconds ever packed.
…Reactions started pouring in right away in the comment section as the fans responded. One hilariously read: “The devil works hard but Rinna works harder,” which is so apt in summing up the relentless energy of Rinna. Others went on to praise the product itself, with another commenter calling it “an iconic styler for THE icon.” Bumble and bumble even showed some love towards Rinna.
Some fourth-wall-breaking audience comments began arriving at this point, with one observer undermining Rinna’s home décor: “Her house looks so middle class lol”-an apt comment considering Rinna’s Beverly Hills standing. Others sought even further pleading from Rinna’s reality TV career, “We need more reality tv shows from you Rinna. You’re a hoot!”
The product behind all this fame, the Invisible Oil Primer, is really a cult favorite in salons and among beauty buffs. It works by defending the hair against heat damage, shining it, and making it manageable-A perfect fit for Rinna, who is otherwise styling that outrageously big hairdo of hers. Crazy though it sounds at $40 for 2.5 oz, it’s a luxury-priced product one life swears.
This is not the first collaboration that Rinna has done with Sephora. The actress-reality star has in the last few years turned herself into a beauty influencer and embarks on frequent promotions of her favorite products and routines to her followers. Her raw, unabashed personality, combined with a willingness to act just a little loony (almost the whole bit was crazy), has earned her courting attention in the beauty community.
This is yet another indication of how brands are injecting humor and personality into their advertising realm. Instead of a slick tutorial, Sephora opted for a cheeky, almost absurdist little piece that could have easily been written either by or for Rinna herself. Genius marketing, especially since authenticity is winning over traditional advertising almost every time nowadays.

At first, you’d think this just some celebrity endorsement thrown together, but Rinna owning this bit is downright charming. Whether Rinna is out there searching for hair products in the most unbridled, on-camera embarrassing yet charming way possible or discussing beauty procedures not even given by talented makeover professionals… “Rinna just does it with the same energy that made her famous in reality TV.” And by all the hype, her loyals would not want it any other way!
