The finale of Love Island USA is almost here! On Sunday, July 13, America’s vote will decide which couple is rewarded with the $100,000 grand prize. Season 7 has received criticism for the lack of couples forming in the Villa. We’re a week away from the finale and currently there is only one couple “closed off.” The scarcity of strong connections has sparked a debate online about which islanders have a shot at the money.
Let’s take a look at the current couples.
What are the top Love Island USA winning couple predictions?
By this time last year, the connections in the Villa were plentiful. The final four couples all had a compelling case to win and seemed genuinely invested in each other. This year, it’s a little different. There aren’t as many strong connections, and fans are confused about who to vote for in the finale. If you need some guidance, we’ve got you. Here are the couples I think have the best shot at the money
Nic Vansteenberghe and Cierra Ortega

Nic Vansteenberghe and Cierra Ortega are currently the only couple “closed off,” making them easy frontrunners for the $100,000 grand prize. Their connection began on day two when Cierra entered the Villa as a bombshell. She selected Nic for an overnight stay in the hideaway, pulling him away from his current match, Belle-A Walker. Nic struggled to choose between his two options, saying he was more physically attracted to Belle-A, but more emotionally invested in Cierra. In the end, he chose to pursue his connection with Cierra, sending Belle-A home. Since then, Cierra and Nic have continued to grow their connection. They survived the Casa Amor test and emerged stronger as a couple. There is no doubt they have the strongest connection in the house.
Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley

Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley’s connection is recent, but fans are rooting for them. Chris joined the Villa during Casa Amor week as one of the bombshells. Initially, his focus was on Chelley Bissainthe, but a few chats with Huda made him change course. They chose each other in the recoupling ceremony and have been slowly building their connection. Fans love the way Chris handles Huda’s emotions and reassures her when she’s feeling insecure. He seems exactly like the kind of man she needs. I’m so down for this match!
Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe

Chelley and Ace Greene gained a lot of haters after their behavior this week. The couple isn’t exactly America’s favorite couple at the moment, but they still have one of the strongest connections in the Villa. They need to do some damage control if they want a shot at the $100,000, but I think it’s feasible. They appear to really like each other, but they are so afraid of commitment. I truly don’t understand why they aren’t closed off at this point.
What are the bottom three couples?

Now that’s we’ve discussed the top contenders, let’s take a look at the long shots. There are a few couples that I believe have no shot at taking home the grand prize, whether it’s because their connection is too new or too controversial. Let’s discuss…
Amaya Espinal and Zak Srakaew

Amaya Espinal is the people’s princess! If fans could give a single Amaya the $100,000, they probably would. She’s adorable, funny, and seems to be the most genuine islander of the bunch. Unfortunately for Amaya, she always chooses to pair up with a CLOWN of a man. It’s clear Amaya and Zak Srakaew do not have a connection. I don’t think they have a future after his little speech in Tuesday’s episode. I predict she will end things with him on Thursday, July 3.
Pepe Garcia and Gracyn Blackmore

Pepe Garcia and Gracyn Blackmore formed a connection during Casa Amor week, but the romance quickly fizzled, mainly due to Pepe’s lingering feelings for his former match, Hannah Fields. He’s been open about struggling to connect with Gracyn because of how abruptly Hannah left the Villa. I don’t think these two have a shot at the grand prize. Here’s hoping Pepe and Hannah reconnect after the show.
Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway

Taylor Williams became enemy number one after he chose to pursue bombshell Clarke Carraway over his OG match, Olandria Carthen. The public was disappointed in Taylor and rallied behind Olandria. Taylor’s lack of popularity among fans makes it unlikely he and Clarke will take home the $100,000. In fact, I suspect America will boot them from the Villa the first chance they get.
