Melanie Brown meant Scary Spice of the Spice Girls for a major dose of nostalgia, throwing back to her wedding day at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The pop star posted the clip with a sentimental caption, recalling the chaotic, emotional, and magical moments leading up to her walk down the aisle. And let me tell you, the Internet is still wiping away those tears.

The video shows Mel B laughing with her friend James, who seemed to be thoroughly soaking up that wonderful pre-wedding vibe while sipping his glass of champagne. She said that she was just so overwhelmed with emotion that she could not concentrate on anything else. That candid, sincere joy while talking about marrying her best friend-timeless. “Fans who waited outside the cathedral, I will neverrrr forget!!! Ever ever ever.”
The comment section feels like a love fest itself. One user from L.A. said, “We are so happy for you, gorgeous! Sending love all the way from America!” Another chimed in, “You deserve love and happiness so much. I am so glad you have finally found your prince charming.” Honestly, same.
But the best one yet: “What???? All the time I thought you were already married! Honestly if that’s not true then maybe I don’t need to rush into marriage either.” Right on. “Thanks, now I’m crying again.” Same.
And then the international love was also felt by the fan who tweeted in Dutch: “What a blessing, beautiful moments, enjoy them.”
Now, this is one step beyond celebrity wedding post. It reminds that love-all real, messy, emotional love-is out there for superstars that spent the nineties screaming “Zigazig ah!” at the tops of their lungs. Mel B’s road to happiness hasn’t always been smooth (anybody who has read her book knows that), but this moment? Much joy, zero filter.
Cheers to Scary Spice, her best friend-turned-husband, and those who have been rooting for her ever since. If this post ever proves a statement, it is that love (be it between partners or between a pop icon and her fans) deserves to be celebrated. Loudly. With champagne. And with a few happy tears.

There goes that stare again, now at each other’s tears. Thanks, Mel.
