Samantha Faiers chilled out in front of the camera to give a good look at her date-night outfit on Instagram. The reality star turned fashion influencer posed in an ensemble from Hyphen Store; her locks were finished by Dyson Beauty using Velcro rollers. With the earrings from Soru Jewellery as her only accessories, she captioned simply, “Date night ready 🤎.” Many hoarded compliments for the look, but some felt that there was something… off about it.

The comment section soon erupted into an array of praises and questions. “Wow u look unreal 😍 That outfit was made for you 🔥,” said an admirer, begging for a tutorial “Love the hair need a tutorial to do the bands like that x.” Meanwhile, her glossy hair was still stealing glances as a commenter noted: “A moment of appreciation of how glossy your hair is atm.”
Nevertheless, the hellos offered some unfriendly remarks: “You look so different Sam,” and “Doesn’t even look like you anymore…” came the blunt comments. In follow-up: “Looks unrecognisable until I saw the name 😮,” “would not have recognised her. 😮,” and “You don’t look like Sam anymore, can’t put my finger on it but you look different.”
Others could talk about the changes noticed. One fan said, “Lips too puffed otherwise gorgeous x,” and another commented, “That collagen must be good stuff even ‘puffs’ up the lips.” The collagen comments took off with more laughter over the so-called magic. Some then suggested other changes heard over rumors: “she’s got bigger lips for sure,” and, “I think I can see her nose has changed.”
The debate began, of course, where those supporting Faiers insisted she should be free to do whatever she wants with her appearance: “She looks beautiful the work she’s had done which she can’t deny is way above her sister.” This opened a debate on whether Samantha or her sister Billie looked better naturally.
The outfit faced mixed reviews. Many adored it, but one user wasn’t feeling it: ‘Na that outfit ain’t it can’t lie.’ Then another commented on the fit: ‘The skirt looks funny on your hips sorry it’s not sitting right’. Another creative observer put it: ‘I can’t un see cardboard honeycomb packaging sorry Sam x’.
This is certainly not the first time Faiers has been confronted with comments regarding her changing looks. Faiers has openly discussed some of the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone; however, she claims she mostly goes natural. Whether it is filters, procedures, or just wonderful makeup, it is the reaction that proves how closely the followers scrutinize every post of their favorite stars!

At the end of the day, Faiers seemed pleased with her look on her way out for date night. Despite the controversy, she was covered in comments calling her ‘incred’ and ‘amazing.’ Mixed reviews only show that you cannot please everyone in the world of social media, but surely you can get them talking.
