The Last of Us Season 2 may have proved to be one of the most divisive pieces of television this year, but it seems HBO’s bold approach to the video game material won’t go unrecognized during the awards season. The leading star of the post-apocalyptic drama has nabbed one of the most coveted nominations at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards.
The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for portraying Ellie in Season 2. With the historic nomination, Ramsey becomes the first openly non-binary actor to be nominated more than once at the Emmys.
More to come.
