The Isle of Skye is known for its scenic landscapes and its Camusdarach beach has named by Time Out as one of the best beaches in the UK. Time Out says the beach is one of the most tranquil on the western coast.
“This rugged coastline boasts one of the cleanest beaches on the western coast, with a crescent of pillow-soft white sand hugged by clear-blue waters and framed by dramatic, jagged rocks,” Time Out says.
Vitsors have shared their thoughts on the beach with many reviewers praising it’s unbeatable qualities.
One visitor on Tripadvisor said: “Beautiful beach. High dunes and soft sand. We were lucky that it was sunny while we were there, which made it feel even more spectacular.”
Another penned: “Gem of a beach. If you get the weather this beach is one of the prettiest in the world.”
The Isle of Skye is Located on the West Coast of Scotland and is one of the most visited parts of the UK.
The island is 50 miles long and 25 miles wide and it’s capital, Portree, is a place tourists often visit.
