The Challenge season 41, titled Vets & New Threats, opened its season with a primer on the new faces coming into the competition, and one player’s answer to host TJ Lavin’s interrogation questions caused him to break his carefully curated facade. Throughout The Challenge season 41’s episode zero, which introduces the new Challengers, TJ asked the newbies questions about their past.
Interrogating each new threat about their background, their hopes for the game, and the why behind their decision to appear on The Challenge, TJ got more than he expected from Big Brother 25 alum Blue Kim. “I’m here for a few reasons,” Blue explained, sharing her backstory as an immigrant child who’s hopeful to take some of the burden off of her family.
Blue explained that she wants to help her mother, who recently suffered a traumatic brain injury, especially. Blue then explained “all jokes aside” that she’s hoping to get a breast augmentation post-win, much to TJ’s surprise. Upon hearing Blue say, “first thing’s first, my mom, and then selfishly, I would like to grow a pair,” TJ covered his face to hide from laughter.

She Has Enough Social Game To Get Through To The Host
Blue, admittedly one of the strongest social players on Big Brother 25, had a tough time during the season keeping track of who was lying to her and who wasn’t. While she suffered, as most of the BB 25 cast did, from the twists in the game ultimately giving others an unfair advantage, she’s starting out her Challenge career quite differently.
While Blue did share some genuinely personal things about her life with TJ, explaining her role in her family of origin and even tearing up about her mother’s recent issues. Making the joke about wanting plastic surgery was such a jarring shift that it caught TJ, who’s heard some out-of-pocket things during his years hosting The Challenge, completely off guard.
