White House Accuses Obama Era Officials Of Corruption As Public Demands Epstein Files

While demand is rising for the White House to release information on Jeffrey Epstein and his associates, charges of corruption during the Obama days were thrown at the government. It was Karoline Leavitt, the Press Secretary, who said that former FBI and CIA directors appointed under President Obama were guilty of the “highest level of corruption” while saying that truth shall spring forth. This statement further intensified scrutiny over if and when an actual list of Epstein clients would be shared with the public.

In a video statement from near the White House, Jesse Watters proclaimed that corruption at the highest levels had been thrown at President Trump, and the deep state did everything it could to keep him from returning to that big and beautiful White House behind him.” He praised the administration for being transparent but, strangely, stayed mum on the Epstein papers that have been in the limelight ever since.

The timing of these charges of corruption was viewed with suspicion by many observers. One user unabashedly called it a “dead cat to distract from Epstein,” borrowing from the political strategy of putting out distressing news to shift focus from uncomfortable topics. Another offered an even more direct indictment: “Fox pumping this news to avoid the real list,” insinuating that some media outlets might be part of a con to avert attention away from the very orchestration of the Epstein case.

Replies ensued, pushing back against what were seen as distractions from the papers related to Epstein, one going, “No one cares. We want the Epstein files. Don’t care about anything else.” Many shared the sentiment of the accusations against Obama being a diversionary attack: “Right next to the Epstein list. This administration talks a lot about ‘truth’ every time they’re preaching bullshit.”

This same skepticism then cast doubt on how much, if any, real accountability could ever come out of these corruption allegations. “We already know the damn truth… We want the indictments to come out!” shouted one comment expressing the growing frustration regarding all of these high-level misdeeds never being acted upon. One further claim was that “those files are going to end up on Pam Bondi’s black hole of a desk,” referencing broken promises of transparency in the past.

Other comments began drawing direct lines between the Obama administration charges and the Epstein case. One remarked, “Investigate why Biden didn’t release the Epstein files. Now we have to listen to the Trump BS cover-up on Epstein,” implying that there are bipartisan interests in keeping these records secret. The commentary went on, “We were all played. They all told us they would be released and now we can only assume Trump is on it.”

That exchange underscored the increasing public.

Not until the files are released. Right beside the Epstein list, this administration talks a lot about ‘truth’ every time they preach BS.

The implications cast doubt on whether any real accountability will come from these allegations of corruption. We already know the damn truth…We want the indictments to come out!

That said, a number of commentators began directly tying allegations surrounding the Obama Administration to the Epstein case.

Simultaneously, the exchange brought to the fore (publicly all over again) the notion of deepening public skepticism-especially from all political sides.

Observing on from afar, another public commentator said, “Realize that this corruption continues to exist because the deep state are the clients of Epstein. Blackmailers/blackmailed. Nothing changes.”

While the White House is promising to lift the veil on corruption from past days, many Americans seem far more concerned about today’s accountability for the Epstein network. The incessant whispering of the administration focusing on Obama-era officials but turning the other way from the matter of the Epstein documents have set before everyone suspicions that heavyweights on both sides may have compelling reasons for blocking full transparency. While this predicament is unfolding, public patience with empty accusations seems to be running thin, with the call for concrete action growing louder.

The situation opens up an interesting area of almost impossible balancing for the administration: They have to answer genuine inquiries about corruption in the past and avoid accusations about dirty, political score-settling or diversionary tactic off another sensitive matter. With rates of trust in the institutions being at near zero, it is clear that anything that falls short of complete transparency will only end up chipping away at the limelight of public confidence. This, undoubtedly, is going to weigh much on how the administration is perceived in the days to come.

Additionally, Jesse Watters exposed Democrats’ alleged strategies that he believes reflect on the seriousness of such allegations.
