Picking a fight with Real Housewives doesn’t end well for anyone. Plenty of people have learned that the hard way on The Traitors, and Colton Underwood was fully aware of that when filming Season 4.
The Bachelor alum recently teased what fans can expect from the upcoming season of the hit reality show. He couldn’t say too much about what went down, but hilariously, he said that he felt terrified of the idea of having to face off against one of Bravo’s best.

The upcoming season of The Traitors has more Housewives than ever before. The cast includes Lisa Rinna from Beverly Hills, Candiace Dillard Bassett from Potomac, Porsha Williams from Atlanta, Carolina Stanbury from Dubai, and, of course, the resurrection of Dorinda Medley from New York City. With all of those huge personalities under one roof, Colton told Us Weekly that he was scared. Rightfully so.
“It is, by far, one of the most exciting shows that I’ve ever been a part of,” he teased to the outlet.
“I remember when I first was getting ready to do it, I said to my husband, ‘I’m too old to be fighting with Housewives on TV. I’m scared of them. They’re a different breed. I don’t know what to do,’” Colton continued. “And he’s like, ‘It’s fine, you’ve got this.’ And it was. It is the most epic season. It was so much fun.”
To prepare for the show, Colton said he called up his fellow Bachelor Nation alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. He played as a Faithful in Season 1 before being recruited to the dark side by Cirie Fields. He tried to help the Faithful win by quitting at the last minute, which didn’t work. With that in mind, we’re not sure why Colton would ask him for advice, but he did it anyway.
“I actually did call one person — Arie,” Colton shared. “You’ll have to watch to find out [what his advice was]. I definitely used it a little bit.”
The Traitors Season 4 drops in early 2026 on Peacock.
