In a lovely Instagram post, Ramsay demonstrated that food truly is an inherited trait for Tom and his brother Sam Holland. The restaurateur chef and owner shared this clip out of which it seemed as if the two chefs were in a cooking segment with Ramsay reprimanding Tom for acting high-and-mighty on TV while going on and on about how his brother was a natural in the kitchen.

“Food Is a Family Affair! Especially When It Is in the Family!” wrote Ramsay in the caption, tagging both Tom and Sam. He continued, “Love watching @samholland1999 flourish… he must’ve taught him those knife skills 😁.” With the laid-back feel of the video, it almost felt as if some actors were just hanging out and enjoying their time.
The clip shows that Ramsay doesn’t hold anything back when it comes to bestowing praise upon Sam. “He’s naturally talented with food, by the way,” he said about Sam. “Yeah, he really does have a gift.” There’s this natural connection, that’s just, it’s obvious. And he was born to cook. Let’s get that absolutely clear.”
Displaying typical brotherly love, Tom beams at his sibling and gushes. He informs that Sam cooks for him and their other brothers almost every day. “Because of my brothers and I living just round the corner for him, we’ve had nearly a year of being cooked for by my brother,” Tom says. “And I love that.”
Soon after, the comments overflowed with love for the spiciest this unlikely yet beautiful reunion is going to get between Spiderman and Hell’s Kitchen. One user commented, “I love seeing these two together! Almost like the camera isn’t there! 🥰😉,” and another continued in that spirit, “one thing Tom is gonna do is talk highly of his brothers 🥹.”
The Holland brothers’ tight-knit dynamic is nothing new; Tom has always openly spoken about his admiration for his siblings. But now, to have somebody as famously cruel as a kitchen critic like Ramsay actually rave about Sam’s talents—that must be some kind of next-level validation.
That set the tone for some hilarious sidetracks. “Sometimes it’s weird seeing Ramsay cooking with someone and not screaming at them🤣🤣,” joked one user, giving credit to Ramsay’s infamously fiery temper on Kitchen Nightmares. Another chimed in, “Spidey n Gordon ❤️ who would’ve thought,” encapsulating the undeserved yet heartfelt nature of the collab.
The intriguing thread popped up from a fan who pointed out that the Holland family’s talents seem to stretch from here to eternity: “So one guy is Spider-Man and Nathan Drake, and one is an exceptional cook. Sounds like a talented family.” Another added, “Harry is also an up-and-coming director… and the youngest, Paddy, has already acted in a couple of Netflix series and is a good artist.”
Ramsay’s post did far more than just compliment Sam’s cooking; it became yet another instance of Holland boys championing each other in their respective ambitions, alongside their own career. Acting, directing, cooking arts—this is one family fueled by passion and mutual encouragement.
And, seriously, if Sam ever empties out all the Dough and heads for the professional kitchen, Ramsey’s stamp of approval might as well be written into stone. That kind of endorsement is rare to begin with.

So, yes, that clip was the anchor, but the clip turned into one big rally for family, talent, and pure delight in watching two opposite worlds crash together. The real question: when are we expecting the full episode?
