Weapons, one of the highest-rated horror movies of the year, is now playing in theaters, and even though it is only its opening weekend at the box office, a surprise sequel to the buzzy big-screen feature could be in the pipeline. Zach Cregger has revealed that he has an idea for another story set in the same world as his latest film, which is his second as a solo director, following his 2022 breakout hit Barbarian. However, fans shouldn’t expect a Weapons sequel anytime soon, as it is not a project he is planning to pursue right away.
