Sofia Vergara appeared in an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2003, where Stern ogled her chest.
He tried to tell her he had a “big penis” in Spanish, but failed and instead told her he had a “big burrito.” The media personality noted that the Modern Family star took off her coat, remarking she had a “big chest.”
Later, Stern asked Vergara, “Did you breastfeed your son?” The actress, who was 31 years old at the time, confirmed she did. Stern responded that it was “unbelievable.”
To this, the Griselda actress said it wasn’t unbelievable, noting she was 19 at the time. Nonetheless, Stern pressed on with his inappropriate questioning. He asked, “You must have had so much milk. Right? How much milk? You imagine how much milk was going on?”
Vergara, who burst into laughter but felt uncomfortable with Stern’s comments, shouted, “No respect here!” Stern claimed that her son must have gotten “fat” from consuming her breast milk. He later brazenly expressed interest in feeding from Vergara’s breasts. To this, the America’s Got Talent judge argued she wasn’t pregnant, only for Stern to retort that it “can be arranged.”
Once videos of the interview surfaced online, fans expressed their disgust at Stern in a myriad of ways.
“This is f—ng disgusting. He’s a pig,” one user commented on a Reddit thread.
Another added, “Never seen an interview with him where he wasn’t disgusting to any of the women he had on the show.” One commented, “It just gets worse and worse and worse.”
Despite Stern’s inappropriate behavior, Vergara didn’t seem to hold any ill will towards him for it. Notably, she appeared on his show again in 2015 to promote her film Hot Pursuit.
