Jordan Fisher Shares Nostalgic Throwback Dance With Lindsay Arnold From DWTS

Jordan Fisher kept throwing waves of nostalgia at fans as a vintage clip of himself dancing with his former colleague from Dancing With The Stars, Lindsay Arnold, was released. The actor/singer had posted a clip from the foxtrot, simply captioning it, “I miss dancing with my sister @lindsarnold!!! #dwts #foxtrot.” The clip showed Fisher casually gliding across the ballroom floor while singing live, and that in itself was crazily worth the fans going wild.

Arnold seemed to wholeheartedly agree, saying, “MISS YOU AND THIS SO MUCH 😭.” The duo came forward as winners of Salt 25 of DWTS in 2017, and their chemistry had been transparent ever since on the dance floor and off the dance floor. A fan put it really well by saying, “they were the best duo there ever was,” while another complimentedly called Fisher, “one of the best ever to perform on DWTS.” That’s a lot of praise, but let’s be honest? Fair enough.

The clip reminded viewers once again of Fisher’s crazy skill set: dance, sing, and act simultaneously. “Dancing to the song you’re singing while acting at the same time is TRUE TRIPLE THREAT BEHAVIOR,” said another viewer. Another added, “Bro was born for Broadway fr.” Yeah, no arguments from us either.

Though there was a heartwarming reaction from a mother who revealed that her six-year-old son has never seen Fisher perform live. A big Disney fan because of Fisher’s contribution to the Moana soundtrack, the child exclaimed, “Wowwww, I love this, Mama!” Instant “awww” all over the web.

Since that win, Fisher hasn’t returned to DWTS, but the comment section is one long petition for his return. “Come back to the ballroom!!!” one beggar demanded, followed by others who said they “could watch this season on repeat.” I am in actual disagreement with that! The nostalgia factor is really high here, and Fisher clearly does deliver that, whether it was intentional or not.

For now, it’s just old clips, with the hope of a surprise comeback—or, you know, more music. (Piscesqueen3271? Can you hear us?) That was pretty much a happiness injection that everyone desperately needed. If Fisher and Arnold ever hit the dance floor again, then… Well, let’s all hope the internet can recover.

Until then, we are here, rewatching. And again. And…well, you get the point.
