Meghan Markle‘s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” may be nearing its end, but it is reportedly being “watched” by the British royals. Last month, reports revealed that the Duchess of Sussex’s multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming giant was being scrapped. Although “With Love, Meghan” won’t seemingly be renewed after the contract expires, a new source has claimed that the members of the royal family have been secretly tuning in to watch the show.
Source says Royals are ‘loving’ the meltdown around Meghan Markle’s show
A latest report suggests the members of the British royal family may have been curious about Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop exclusively learned from sources that Buckingham Palace insiders have been watching the duchess’ reality series despite publicly not acknowledging Markle’s Netflix feature.
A royal source told #ShuterScoop that the members “act like it’s beneath them.” However, the insider claimed that they are still “watching” it. They added, “And they’re loving every minute of the meltdown.” A palace insider continued to give commentary on one episode of “With Love, Meghan” in which the duchess takes up beekeeping. King Charles and Kate Middleton famously enjoy this hobby.
The palace watcher asked, “The Queen Bee act?” and stated, “That’s Charles’ idea of comedy gold.” Furthermore, another insider added that the royals would “never admit” tuning in for Markle’s Netflix show. However, they “wouldn’t miss a single buzzword.” It looks like the British royals may have been enjoying the feature despite appearing not to care about it.
Meanwhile, reports surfaced last month about Netflix scrapping the multimillion-dollar deal. The streaming giant’s decision came after Markle confirmed in March that her reality series would return with a second season. The next feature of “With Love, Meghan” is expected to air later this year. It will reportedly not be renewed after the contract expires in September. Previously, another source also suggested that Markle could be looking for new projects.
