Paddy Pimblett recently took to social media to talk about a pretty hard week in Vegas, in support of his friend Nathan, who was fighting in the UFC. Notwithstanding those not going their way, the meaning of the team sticking together was stressed heavily by Pimblett, in a heartfelt post with a snapshot.

This picture shows Pimblett and the team huddled together in some swanky venue, their arms interlocked in a show of solidarity. Sharing some of that aura of good-fun-group-mischief, the men were just dressed down in tee shirt and jeans, while one was carrying a shopping bag as if it was to keep the leisure spirit alive during fight week. The archways and jazzy parquet only aided to cement the Vegas vibe in the air.
The caption was somewhat balanced, given the mood of the post, acknowledging how the loss left an unpleasant taste while galvanizing the team: “Nice week away with the team in Vegas for Nathan’s fight, didn’t get the result we wanted but we win as a team and lose as a team,” followed by a red heart emoji. He added: “I know he will be back better and stronger for his next UFC fight.”
Supportive, as well as funny comments were made: “Paddy is the next champ, I believe in Paddy,” and “You win some, you lose some. It’s still fun.” Then there were the more serious comments: “Mate, when you coming back?”
Some comments even went off-topic with some taking the playful, weird road by pressing out: “Paddy reply if u smoke that midget Topuria“—some kind of insider callback to Pimblett’s old rivalry with fellow fighter Ilia Topuria. Meanwhile, those on the Spanish side of his fanbase put out comments about Pimblett’s physique: “Looks like he’s losing weight?” and the next one teased, “My brother, you gotta start cutting already… 😢.”
One very colorful comment in Spanish joked, “Parece un paleto al que subestimas en seguida y luego te pega una paliza,” aptly describing Pimblett’s unassuming yet deadly presence inside the cage. Another eager fan begged, “Paddy The Baddy please knock down that mongo Topuria.”
With his brash persona and flashy fighting style, the outspoken Paddy has ironically managed to garner quite a loyal following that enjoys his candid ways inside and out of the octagon. While Paddy turned the spotlight on his teammates here, the comments reveal just how desperately the fans want him back in the cage. Whether he’s standing there supporting a teammate or stirring the pot elsewhere, one thing is for sure: Paddy The Baddy keeps conversations going.

Being traditionally, LA lightweight is one of the most unpredictable divisions, and with Pimblett’s name being consistently thrown around, you can be assured of all eyes being on whatever happens next for him. For now, however, the vibes he was putting down were purely for the team—pretending that sometimes, fighting is not just about the individual.
