Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is really tired of being falsely portrayed in the press. She believes bloggers sometimes make up or exaggerate stories simply to get clicks.
On the one hand, Shannon does tend to be volatile and reacts emotionally when she’s upset. However, Jeff Lewis pointed out that scenes of Shannon blowing up on camera can be “manipulative.” That’s why her full name, Shannon Storms Beador, is so appropriate for her. Shannon comes in like a hurricane, but it can blow over quickly.
“I get it,” Shannon responded. “False stories are written about me. I read stories about other people, and I assume it’s true.”

On August 14, Shannon was a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. A caller asked about Shannon’s on-going fight with costar Katie Ginella.
“I understand why you’re saying these things,” Shannon replied. “But as the show moves forward, I think that you’ll be able to understand … There’s just barely any truth with Katie … The bottom line is you’re not allowed to record anybody in California without their knowledge, and she did that.”
Shannon was referring to Katie’s filming her losing her sh*t on the phone with her ex-husband David Beador. Katie also lied about contacting a blogger with information about Tamra Judge. When Katie claimed she never contacted the blogger, the blogger provided receipts proving she had.
By the end of Episode 1, Shannon was already saying Katie was “worse than” both Tamra and Alexis Bellino. As Emily Simpson said at the time, “That’s bad,” since Alexis and former bestie Tamra are Shannon’s two biggest enemies.
“Do you still believe [Katie is] worse than Alexis?” Jeff wondered
“No,” Shannon admitted. “I recanted it right after. I said, ‘Well, it’s equal.’”
Jeff went on to ask about rumors that Shannon “had to be subdued and [was] mistreating the staff” at Heather Dubrow’s fake birthday party.
“It’s really frustrating when stuff like that comes out,” Shannon responded. “Of course, you want to defend yourself. But at the same time, I don’t want to give it life. I was dancing right after my conversation with Katie, having fun … [I] went and got another grilled cheese.”
