Open golf partners invitation by Carlos Boozer: two-time All-Star gave a peak into his golf game and extended an invitation to any fan or golfer to play with him. Having made his waves in the basketball court with more energy, maybe Boozer is now channeling that energy into his golf game.

Boozer was caught mid-swing on one of the most gorgeous days imaginable, with the green carpets stretching behind and above him, just perfect for golf. Flaming sharpened with that fuchsia-pink shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers, Boozer said: “Come Play Hole 16 With Me ⛳️ Who’s Ready To Get A Round In???”
A huge wave of excitement followed in response. A flood of comments came from spectators and friends, along with athletes all eager to grab the invitation. “You tell me when and I’ll be there my guy 🔥 swing looking good!” said one golfer, to which Boozer humbly responded, “It’s a work in progress, but loving it.”
Location invites started streaming in: “Booz come play with us! We are in Utah. Would love to get some content out.” Another one from Hawaii read, “Pull up to Hawaii my boy.” Perhaps the most aggressive one came from a guy in Puerto Rico: “Bro, come to PR! 🇵🇷 I got you!!! Got three courses to choose from!!!! My treat!” Boozer responded with, “I’m down…which courses?”
Others again ridicule Boozer’s technique and the equipment he used: “Ok, this looks like some pro technology too!! Does it track yards? How far you crack that first one 🔥” Boozer said he drove it 230 from the tips, which even from his perspective is no joke considering he is not just some casual player. Another person joked about his form: “home made,” to which Boozer laughed along with some emojis.
And that post was really about the surroundings, too. One comment read, “I can’t play but what a view!!” to which Boozer replied simply, “View is crazy.” The scenic course, probably Mayacama, given the chatter, is a breathtaking area for a spontaneous invitation.
Since then, one thing has become for sure: the transition has been smooth if one meant from hardwood to fairway. His elaborately viewing back and forth in comments–answering probably all the serious invites–that is one serious guy who means connecting with fellows through the sport. Tex, Utah, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or back home in L.A.: One way or another, Boozer has publicly expressed his availability to play.”
