Meredith Marks never hid her marital problems from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City viewers. Even in the premiere season, when she and husband Seth Marks were on the rocks. His hectic work schedule meant that the couple were apart often. And they were at a breaking point in Season 1.
Thankfully, the reality TV couple were able to work through it all and seemingly came back stronger in the end. Not to say they don’t squabble. On Season 5, Seth’s work schedule once again caused strife during Bronwyn Newport’s anniversary weekend in Palm Springs. But heading into Season 6, the duo are once again on track. And Meredith shared an update during a recent interview.

“Contrary to what my castmates may see, my dynamic with my husband, which is actually really positive and great,” Meredith told Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
And while Season 6 may expose “some little squabbles” between the couple, Meredith reiterated that her fights with Seth now are “very normal in a healthy relationship.”
The Meredith Marks Caviar founder then threw a little shade at her cast mates. She alluded to the “perfect” couples being not at all that solid. Certainly, the Season 6 trailer hints at issues in Lisa Barlow’s marriage, as well as financial troubles for Whitney Rose. Meanwhile, things between Meredith and Seth have “been great.”
“The ones who are trying to say their marriages are all perfect are the ones who usually have the biggest problems,” Meredith stated. “So, I’m happy to show that.”
The RHOSLC favorite concluded, “Life is good.”
It turns out that there is a very good reason for Meredith’s happiness. Earlier in the summer, Seth landed a role that allowed him to work remotely. He is now Senior Vice President of Wholesale Solutions at GA Group. And it’s given the couple a newfound level of freedom.
“There’s so much flexibility for him to kind of be able to be wherever I need to be, and that makes things a lot easier. It takes a lot of the conflict away,” the mother-of-three explained.
Meredith continued, “But we’re just enjoying life. We’re having a fun time, traveling with each other, and he’s coming to a lot of my DJ events, and other events.”
