Meanwhile, Julia and Adriana’s feud reached new heights as Marysol revealed a secret about Adriana. Here’s what happened in RHOM Season 7 Episode 17: “Reunion Part 1.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 18?
The cast addressed their response to Julia dousing Guerdy with water. Host Andy Cohen brought up Julia’s wife, Martina Navratilova’s gross surrogacy post. And Julia stunned everyone with a bombshell about Adriana.
Alexia shares an update about Todd Nepola
As the ladies prepped to hit the stage, we got a preview of their attitudes. “Adriana remarked that she was “ready for battle.” However, Julia was emotional and crying in the make-up chair. “I don’t have Martina with me,” she said. “She’s with the boys.” When Marysol and Alexia entered, they hugged Julia. “I just wanted you,” Julia sobbed.
Of course, the set was modeled after a rooftop bar in Miami. And, in a stunning turn of events, Lisa was on time. Andy started the reunion with a round of tequila shots, and Kiki tried to score two. She had the right idea! Buckle up!
So, where does Alexia stand with her ex-husband, Todd Nepola? “We are not together,” she stated. “And zero, no contact.” Plus, she has him blocked.
Alexia explained that Todd would pick a fight with her before the reunion, and Marysol shared that he wouldn’t speak to her for days. In addition, Alexia finally admitted that the infamous narcissism party was about Todd. Score one point for Stephanie!
Guerdy won’t back down about Julia dousing her
Andy brought up how the Miami ladies failed to react to Julia dousing Guerdy with water. “I wish I would have said something,” Alexia remarked. “I wish I would have done more.”
Of course, Larsa made it about her and reminded everyone that in 2022, Adriana threw a glass at her. Roll footage! She actually threw the glass past her and the other ladies. Then Alexia pointed out that Kiki threw a juice box at Lisa in 2023, and in footage from 2022, Julia tried to dump an ice bucket on Marysol.
Alexia pointed out, “There is a history in this group, and there’s a pattern of people throwing objects or things and not liking it. But when it happens to you, that’s when you get upset.” She added, “And you have every right to be upset, just like everyone else did when it happened to them.”
Then Kiki brought up that she tried to remove Guerdy from the room after Julia threw the water. However, Guerdy said in the press that Kiki made her look “like the angry Black woman.”
“I’m being called racist. I’m getting all sort of threats,” Kiki said. Then, Alexia called out Guerdy for coming after the cast via social media. “I mean, altogether, we don’t think that it’s right,” Alexia said. However, Guerdy wanted specific examples. Next, she pointed out that the ladies were “verbally … hazing” her after the water toss.
Guerdy confronts Julia about her behavior
Guerdy called Julia a “three-peat offender.” First, Julia tried to dump the ice bucket on Marysol. And in unseen footage at the Mamacita luncheon in 2023, Julia repeatedly slammed a chair on the floor and screamed at Marysol. Guerdy claimed that she broke a glass, but that wasn’t in the footage.
According to Guerdy, Dr. Nicole Martin had to buy a new chair to replace the broken one. “I did not break a glass,” Julia mumbled to Marysol. “And number three was when she physically assaulted me, and finally she landed her moment on TV – on my back,” Guerdy said.
“I reacted – I overreacted. It was slightly tequila-enhanced,” Julia told Guerdy. She apologized and added that “there was no excuse for it. Nothing that I do is planned, really, or rehearsed.” Good to know since this is a reality show.
RHOM viewers were locked in on the cast’s outrage at Guerdy for displaying her texts with Julia at her Celebration of Life event, and their lack of interest when Julia doused Guerdy. In an unseen clip, Marysol took a crying Julia to the bathroom and advised her not to throw anything again.
“Neither of them were right to me,” Marysol stated at the reunion. In another unseen clip, minutes after Julia tossed the drink, Larsa and Marysol both said that no one should throw things.
“What did the text messages prove?” Andy asked. “It gets to a point when people are not listening and you feel unseen, and you feel like, ‘I don’t really matter in this group,’” Guerdy explained.
Can Julia and Guerdy move forward?
When asked if they could move forward, Julia mentioned, “My children were under attack. You could of, like a good friend you are, you could have volunteered to say something and stop spreading this hate.” Then Julia mentioned how Guerdy went online and shamed them “for changing the boys’ names.” However, Guerdy did not recall making that post.
Then, Guerdy asked Julia, “Can you at least admit it’s not about the cruise at all?” Julia responded, “It is not about the cruise.” She asked Guerdy what she needed to do to fix their friendship.
“What do you want to do, bully her?” Larsa exclaimed. Obviously, the issue won’t be solved during the reunion. Off-camera, Guerdy told Adriana, “You need to get a hold of yourself.” Still, Adriana told Guerdy that she should have forced Julia to admit that she lied about the cruise.
Next up, Andy highlighted newbie Stephanie’s journey. She learned some lessons from watching herself on RHOM. She noted that her tone could be “so harsh.” Stephanie added that she “learned that with friends you can’t treat them so transactional.”
Then she cleared up the rumors about how she met her husband, Masoud Shojaee. She was never his ex-wife’s assistant. “I have never, never met his ex-wife,” Stephanie said. “Masoud was separated for eight years before I met him.”
As for her relationship with her twin sisters? There hasn’t been much progress on that front. Meanwhile, Stephanie’s biggest surprise was “how much I love every single girl here.” Aww!
Then it was Lisa’s time in the hot seat. She has a therapist and is working on limiting the chaos in her life. After all, that was a request from her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, before he would propose. She shared that her public and messy divorce from Dr. Lenny Hochstein “shook me to my core” and changed her. As far as Jody, they have had talks about getting married.
Julia drops the mother of all bombshells
Then Andy brought up how Julia’s wife, Martina, wrote via X, formerly Twitter, “Surrogacy is just wrong. Sometimes you can’t have it all.” Since both of Lisa’s children were born via surrogate, she weighed in on Martina’s post. “I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it at first,” Lisa said. “I’m surprised that she didn’t retract it.”
Julia responded, “She took the comment down. We had numerous discussions about it.” She added, “I disagree with her 100 percent.”
Then, Andy asked Julia if Adriana was ever in the running to be the boys’ godmother. “No, she was not,” Julia said. “Wow. That’s like the deepest dagger in my heart,” Adriana replied. After all, Adriana asked Julia to be the godmother of her beloved pooch, Basquiat. Plus, Adriana revealed that she wrote two character letters for Julia when she and Martina were trying to adopt.
Then Julia made Real Housewives history. “I would like to say something that would bring clarity, hopefully, on why we are with Adriana where we are,” she explained. “In the Hamptons, Adriana and I slept together.” WHAT?!
Everyone’s mouth fell open, including mine. This reveal made reunion history!
