Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 20 Recap

Welcome to The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 20 recap. It’s the final part of the reunion, and the last word on Season 7. Last time, Adriana presented Julia with her broken heart in a box. Meanwhile, Julia revealed how many times she and Adriana hooked up. And Stephanie and Alexia addressed why they clashed all season. Here’s what happened in RHOM Season 7 Episode 20: “Reunion Part 3.”

First up, host Andy Cohen addressed Larsa’s insensitive comments about Lisa being in Milan when her father was seriously ill. “My dad would have wanted me to do what I do, which is shine,” Lisa said. Then she called out the entire cast for not supporting her amid her father’s death. “Enough is enough,” Alexia remarked. Her comment didn’t go over well with Guerdy and Adriana.

Next, Andy brought up the elevator moment in Seville, Spain. Cameras weren’t filming, but whatever happened caused Lisa’s boyfriend, Jody, to start texting Larsa. According to Julia, Larsa lashed out at Lisa, and Lisa fired back. Then the trio left the elevator, and shortly afterward, Jody started texting. Well, that clears everything up!

So, Guerdy chimed in, mentioning how Larsa insinuated that Jody was allegedly on something in Milan. Cue the flashback to the ladies discussing the size of Jody’s eyes, and Larsa providing a photo. “You insinuated that he was on something,” Lisa told Julia and Larsa. “Well, they thought that because you were talking about AC in your apartment!” Larsa exclaimed.

Cue the flashback to Jody’s birthday party, when he told his friends, “We’re going for a shot and some AC.” Then they went to Jody’s room and shut the door. This started whispers that Jody was allegedly referencing cocaine, and not some cool air. Lisa again stated that Jody was talking about “air conditioning.”

Then Lisa admitted that she should have unfollowed Larsa’s ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, sooner. However, she insisted that Larsa had a lot to apologize for. Lisa shared that Larsa’s antics caused major problems in her relationship with Jody, leading them to nearly split up. Of course, nothing would make Larsa happier. When Andy asked Larsa if she would apologize to Jody backstage, she confirmed that she would.

The Marbella drama is revisited

Andy mentioned how Julia tattled to Alexia about what Stephanie said behind her back in Spain. Stephanie pointed out that Julia wouldn’t have gone to Marbella if it weren’t for Stephanie and her private jet. “And for you to have just made it worse for Alexia and I, it really was just … upsetting,” Stephanie said.

Julia called her remark a “brain fart.” Then Lisa asked Julia why she didn’t confront Marysol and Alexia for skipping Marbella. For Julia, asking her friend to be the godfather of her boys was more important than calling out her friends.

Stephanie must have been set on simmer, because she boiled over. “Can I talk for a damn second?” she screamed. And yes, it is about Stephanie’s famed private plane.

“Is it really that bad to fly on Shoma Air with the rules?” she said. After all, the ladies drank and had a dance party. It looked torturous! “I’d go on the plane,” Andy chimed in. However, Marysol objected to separating people on the plane and the seating arrangement.

Let them eat cake!

The equation that Kiki wrote on Adriana’s birthday cake was the next topic of conversation. Kiki admitted that it “does look mean.” She shared that she did it because Adriana “was too old” to be calling her “ratchet.” However, Kiki apologized profusely because she didn’t realize how “sensitive” Adriana was about her age.

While Adriana realized that Kiki wasn’t being cruel, her feelings were still hurt. “I never celebrate my birthday because I don’t want to feel like that,” a tearful Adriana said. “Literally, the last party I had, I was fifteen.” Lisa moved over to embrace Adriana, but somehow her tears made Marysol salty.

“Oh my God! Are you f*cking kidding me right now?” Marysol exclaimed. “She’s talking about old age, and she called me an old whore, and I have old lady knees.”

So, Andy called out Adriana for age-shaming  Marysol and her knees. In fact, Marysol is getting a knee procedure because she feels “self-conscious” about her knees. WOW.

Larsa meets with Jody and Lisa

Larsa entered Lisa’s dressing room to allegedly apologize to Jody. Instead, she talked about how she had been going through a tough time and accused Lisa of not calling her. Finally, the ladies agreed to meet, without cameras, to hash out their issues. And Larsa apologized directly to Jody. Lisa and Larsa hugged it out and agreed to keep Jody out of their problems. Hurray!

Back onstage, Guerdy discussed the effects she is dealing with from her cancer. She decided not to have the reconstruction surgery with the support of her husband, Russell Abraira. Guerdy is in individual therapy and shared that the trauma of how she arrived in the U.S. is still haunting her.

When Andy asked if Guerdy’s fears of being abandoned were related to her issues with Julia, she responded that “abandoned” wasn’t the correct word. “It’s the degrading aspect of it,” Guerdy explained. In addition, Guerdy added that Julia’s water toss was “really traumatic.” Julia apologized again because she “brought you back the pain.” And once again, Guerdy accepted Julia’s apology.

Then, Julia gave an update on her family. When Julia and her wife, Martina Navratilova, adopted their young sons, Jaxon and Luca, it upset Julia’s daughters. Emma and Vika were hurt because Julia didn’t communicate with them about the process. While Vika has met her new brothers, Emma hasn’t yet, but she did Facetime. Thankfully, Emma has accepted her new family, but her relationship with Martina is a bit rocky.

Who is the master manipulator?

Andy brought up a comment that RHOM alum Dr. Nicole Martin made on her podcast. She “accused an unnamed ‘friend of’ of hiring a private investigator to dig up information on her in hopes of getting a mojito,” Andy said. Marysol’s response? “Prove it,” she stated. “Prove it or we’re going to court.”

Next, Andy asked Stephanie, “Who manipulates who” in the Alexia and Marysol friendship? Stephanie noted that dealing with the “public backlash” from being part of the RHOM cast has been rough. However, Marysol sent Stephanie every negative article. According to Marysol, she was trying to help the newbie. So, is Marysol still Stephanie’s “safe space?” Stephanie stated, “I don’t think that there’s a safe space to talk about everything right now with anybody.”

Finally, it was time to address Marysol’s claim that she instructed Adriana to say that she called Kiki “wretched,” not “ratchet.” However, Adriana claimed that she did call Kiki “wretched.” She added, “That’s the word I used.”

For Kiki, she knows that Adriana isn’t “racist.” However, she questioned why Adriana chose to call her “ratchet” when she never used the same word with other people she was feuding with, namely Julia and Marysol. In addition, Kiki found both Marysol and Adriana “backstabbing at that moment” for their involvement in the “ratchet” and “wretched” mess.

Andy asked for a positive that each cast member will take away from Season 7. Most of the cast members mentioned friendship. “This is by far, top five best experiences of my life,” Stephanie said. “And I’m really thankful, you know, that I have you guys in my life.” I truly wasn’t expecting that.

Meanwhile, Guerdy plugged her memoir, From Trauma to Trophies and the Unforeseen Events That Redefined Me. However, Julia felt it “was my best season and my worst season.” She has “a lot of growing to do.” In the end, Adriana told Alexia that she was “proud” of her for walking away from her ex-husband, Todd Nepola. And the ladies ended a fantastic season with a mojito toast.

The Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
