The horror duo is granting the city a memorable night. Theaters at Lennox Town Center 24 will welcome Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich for the special screening of ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ on the 5th of December. First, the film will air, then the organizers will hold what they have promised will be a nonstop question-and-answer session—without a moderator, just the actors and the audience.

The event organizers have extremely posh premium packages available through GalaxyCon Columbus, which have the most appealing names that could straight be out of the game. The Golden Freddy Package, Night Shift Photo Op and Autograph After Hours are the ones that grant you professional photos, signed posters, and early entry capabilities. It has been reported that tickets are selling out fast for this weekend event of opening.

The announcement quickly created a buzz among the fans, a lot of them mentioning the ‘Scream’ co-stars reunion as a significant reason behind their excitement. One user put it bluntly when he typed ‘The two main characters in scream 1’, while another one talking about their original roles as the Ghostface murderers in the 1996 cult classic said ‘Stu and Billy are back’.

Those outside the country reacted to the news by conveying their discontent about missing out. A Brazilian user said: ‘Oh Matt, please do not make a film event here in Brazil 😭😔’, while somebody simply stated ‘Sad I live beyond Atlantic Ocean’. The feeling of frustration was very much the same in a comment that read ‘Americans get fking everything bro I hate it here’ and in another which asked ‘Anyone want to fly me down? 👀’.

Some of the people attending the concert will go through big cuts in their budgets just to be there. A hardcore fan expressed it this way; ‘Just tell my husband we aren’t paying the mortgage because our daughter is going to be with these (Scream) killers for sure, matthewlillard, skeetulrich’ so one would go to any length for this horror reunion.

The event timing was quite unfortunate for many followers. One user said, ‘man that’s the day before my birthday’ while another one expressing the wish to attend said, ‘I want to go so badly, it’s on my birthday but SO FAR AWAY 😭’. A third one who has passed on the previous chances wrote ‘omfgggg 😭😭😭 I missed him at comic con in michigan 😭 so tempted to drive down to Ohio for this omfgg’.

Practical questions, such as the one from a user ‘When is the photo op schedule going to be released??’ were asked in the comments section. GalaxyCon Columbus answered, ‘Very soon!’ Another inquiry was: ‘Will the Q&A be recorded to share with fans outside the show so we can see what they say about the movie?’ though no official answer was provided.

The screening is not merely a movie watching, it is an event where two horror actors who were key in defining the horror genre in the 90’s are again brought together for a new generation of fright fans. To quote an observer: ‘These two in movies:😈😈 these two in real life:🤪☺️’

The limited ticket availability and the rapid sale of premium packages have already marked this Columbus screening as one of the softest horror events of the season. The intimate atmosphere of the highly awaited sequel plus the presence of two legendary horror actors have proven that the scariest moments can sometimes be the most exciting ones as well. Matthew Lillard recently delivered a heartfelt message to UC Riverside students after his masterclass, showing his dedication to education. Ice Nine Kills and Matthew Lillard announced a horror collaboration that includes whiskey. Matthew Lillard and Isaiah Mustafa faced off in a historic Ring of Chaos game. Matthew Lillard also brings his signature scare to a colon cancer screening campaign, using his horror fame for important health awareness.
