The Trump administration ought to put an end to the special treatment pedophile-enabler Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly receiving in prison — and throw cold water on her hopes for a presidential commutation.
On Monday, House Democrats released whistleblower complaints that Maxwell, who helped her buddy Jeffrey Epstein prey on teen girls, is being waited on “hand and foot” in the minimum-security prison camp she was transferred to in July — so much so that a top official at the joint has whined that he’s “sick of having to be Maxwell’s bitch.”
Per the report, she’s getting VIP treatment: customized meals delivered right to her cell, private exercise time, access to puppies to play with and a host of other privileges.
The whistleblower alleges that warden Tanisha Hall has bent over backward to make accommodations for Maxwell, carrying out secretarial duties on her behalf, providing snacks for her private meetings with guests, letting her visitors bring in computers and even personally helping Ghislaine prep her commutation application — while punishing prison employees who protest.
The free personal assistant and butler services that Maxwell seemingly has at her beck and call aren’t available to her fellow inmates, most of whom are serving time for white-collar charges that pale in comparison to Ghislaine’s perverted crimes.
Heck, vanishingly few Americans get such luxuries on the outside.
Maxwell’s five-star experience is bewildering: Who’s pushing for a convicted child sex trafficker to have it so easy in prison?
The aristocratic Brit spent decades finding and grooming vulnerable young girls for Epstein to molest, then perjured herself repeatedly to cover up the abuse.
She’s taken zero responsibility for her part in these horrors, but she’s just as much of a creep as Epstein was.
She deserves hard time — not a stint in a glorified adult daycare, where federal employees must cater to her every whim at taxpayer expense.
Unless Team Trump wants another headache like the mess when the Justice Department announced that there’s no Epstein “client list” to release, Maxwell’s Club Fed treatment needs to end, pronto.
And President Trump should clearly state that he won’t cut her sentence short via commutation or pardon; he’s so far given non-committal answers that only fan the conspiracy flames.
Sickos who prey on kids shouldn’t get kid-glove treatment, nor sprung from prison early.
Give Ghislaine Maxwell the prison experience she’s earned — or face justified public outrage.
