Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, Nathan avoided a “pointless hookup” with Kizzi, but he failed to dodge Captain Sandy. His team is improving. And now, she needs Nathan to step up and pick his lead deckhand. But once a new, attractive guest arrives, tempting Kizzi in turn, all eyes turn towards her next steps, as seen on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 11, “Crossing Lines.”
What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 11?
Nathan appoints his lead deckhand, but his decision immediately ticks off one of his deckhands. Meanwhile, Kizzi has found her next crush, but her crush is considered forbidden territory. As Kizzi plots and plans, her fellow yachties are doing the same, but only for their own boatmance predicaments.
Nathan chooses a lead deckhand
Joe and V wake up together. Outside, Nathan calls his Season 9 crush, Gael Cameron. Moving forward, Nathan only has eyes for Gael. Sorry, Kizzi.
Max greets Cathy with a hug. He digs her, but Cathy needs “less pressure.”
Max heads to the pier, where he applauds Joe’s work ethic. Nathan overhears and smiles; then, everyone heads into their preference sheet meetings. A Sommelier, two former footballers, a rapper, and a professional fighter named David, who makes Kizzi blush, are all coming on board. These men hope to watch at least one of the America’s Cup sailing races from the yacht.
After their meeting, Joe and Max take to their talking heads. They each want the lead deckhand position. But either way, Joe admits, he will be fine. Max, however, has been busting his ass since Episode 1, unlike Joe, so this “fighter” deserves it more, but alas, Nathan picks Joe.
“All this for nothing. What the f*ck?” Max asks from his confessional. Then, he heads to the back of the yacht and relatably screams into the void.
Kizzi flirts with a charter guest

The all-male charter guests arrive. As they tour the yacht with Aesha, Nathan reveals his lead deckhand choice to Captain Sandy. She asks if Max is okay, and Nathan answers yes, but the cameras pan, showing Max taking deep, not okay breaths in his cabin.
Kizzi has her first conversation with David. It’s short and innocent, but Kizzi still needs a beat to recover. The yacht gets underway. Kizzi approaches David again, and this time, he asks about her relationship status.
“He’s eye-f*cking me right now,” Kizzi narrates. They continue talking in the hallway, and as they part, David pulls out his phone and adds Kizzi on social media. Kizzi giggles.
In the galley, Josh prepares a protein-heavy lunch for his thrilled guests. In the crew mess, Cathy greets Max with a hug. Back in the galley, Kizzi admits that she’d like to kiss David. Josh laughs, but Aesha feels slightly nervous that Kizzi might actually cross this line.
As the guests eat, appreciating their view of the America’s Cup races, Max and Nathan ready the water toys. But unbeknownst to Nathan, Max remains upset about the lead deckhand pick.
Kizzi frustrates Josh and sets a date with fate

Kizzi checks on the guests. She asks if a 7 to 7:30 dinnertime works for them, which it does. But when she reports this back to Josh, he gets upset. This time slot is far too early for everything he still needs to make.
“Kizz, Josh says in his confessional, “What the f*ck are you doing? You don’t set a dinnertime without talking to the chef.” As Josh accurately clocks, these men and their abs are distracting Kizzi.
In the crew mess, Captain Sandy sits with V. The first anniversary of Bon’s passing is in four days, V reveals. The emotions coursing through V are high and varied. And she’s also sick, but once Captain Sandy learns all of this, she offers V her support.
Josh goes into overdrive in the galley. He still manages to knock everything out, even with Kizzi’s strict time constraints.
Max helps Cathy unzip her uniform. She’s never met anyone like Max. And she isn’t sure if this is a positive or a negative thing to think.
After dinner, David asks Kizzi to sit with him. He wonders, “You ever break the rules?” When Kizzi answers yes, David quips, “Well, you have to show me your ways.”
Kizzi tells him that she will, but she can only bend the rules tomorrow night. That way, he can leave the next day, and “no one’s talking about it.” David likes this plan, and he also texts her the following morning.
The deckhands battle as Kizzi contemplates boundaries on Below Deck Med

On deck, Joe learns a new skill. Captain Sandy sees his initiative and states that Nathan picked the right lead deckhand. Cathy and V escort the guests on a sailing excursion. But seasickness sets in, so Cathy radios the yacht.
Max answers and heads off to pick them up. However, he fails to warn Aesha. He also fails to remember the rules, since Nathan spots a guest driving their tender.
When confronted, Max argues that his hands were on the wheel. Nathan thinks he’s lying. In the galley, Josh prepares another family-style dinner service, which Aesha clocks. “He can’t keep doing this,” she sighs.
Captain Sandy checks on V, and when she sees V struggling, she sends her on a break. In her cabin, V falls apart in Cathy’s kind arms.
Later that night, Max and Nathan squabble while hoisting up a jet ski. But the real mess happens once everyone goes to bed. Kizzi finds David, but before anything can happen, this episode lamely comes to a close.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
