In 2026, Ben 10 fans are in for a treat. The original Ben 10 continuity ended in 2014 with the Ben 10: Omniverse episode “A New Dawn,” which closed the book on the classic timeline. The second continuity only lasted four years, ending Ben 10’s TV presence in 2021 and paying homage to the wider Ben 10 multiverse.
Ben Tennyson and his friends have been absent since 2021, but that’s about to change. In 2024, Dynamite Entertainment announced that a brand-new Ben 10 comic was on the way. As 2025 comes to an end, Dynamite’s Ben 10 #1 has been confirmed to release in February 2026.
Ben 10 Will Return In 2026
Dynamite’s Ben 10 Comic Is Complete And Ready To Launch
On December 17, 2025, Man of Action’s Duncan Rouleau acknowledged Dynamite’s Ben 10 comic, confirming that “the book is done.” New information, including exact release date, covers, and plot details, will likely be revealed in January. Dynamite and Man of Action have yet to announce how long the new Ben 10 comics will run for, but they likely won’t be a miniseries.
Dynamite’s Ben 10 comics are expected to be a reboot of the Ben 10 lore, running parallel to the previous two established continuities. Ben’s origins and his first adventures with the Omnitrix, as well as Ben’s gradual discovery of all aliens, may receive a new twist in comic form. Speaking to Bleeding Cool in October, the Man of Action team explained:
“The Man of Action brain trust will recontextualize the greatest hits and coolest components of previous iterations, honing it down to its most perfect presentation. They will expand and add to the recipe, with a thoughtful approach to continuity in the vein of classic superhero comics, rewarding both grown-up fans of the original shows, as well as younger readers who have never met Ben, his cousin Gwen, Grandpa Max, fearsome foes like Vilgax, all of the powerful aliens of the Omnitrix, and countless other fun parts of the world!”
Dynamite’s Ben 10 Will Take A Familiar Approach To Comics
Ben 10’s 2026 Comics Will Be The Third Major Ben 10 Timeline
If the concept of rethinking Ben 10’s early days and expanding on the classic continuity from a fresh angle for new and old audiences sounds familiar, it’s because both Marvel and DC are taking a similar approach with their Ultimate and Absolute universes. Classic characters and events are revisited from the beginning, but with a new, bold twist. In the same interview with Bleeding Cool, writer Joe Casey calls Dynamite’s Ben 10 comics the “‘Ultimate’ or ‘Absolute’ Ben 10”.
Comics are a coveted home for a wide variety of famous franchises. Godzilla, Predator, Supernatural, and Marvel Rivals come from different media, but they’re all expanding in comic book form in 2026. With enough support, Ben 10 could easily become a household franchise for Dynamite Entertainment.
