Every New Movie and TV Show Coming to Peacock in January 2026

The January 2026 line-up on Peacock continues to deliver bingeworthy television alongside new and new-to-streaming movies. On the TV front, Peacock is kicking off the year with original programming, including the return of an addictive, popular reality-competition show and a new Cold-War Era spy thriller. For movies, the platform sees the addition of an action film that blew through the box office and the addition of one of the most beloved film franchises of the 21st century.

We have outlined the must-watch movies and TV shows coming to Peacock in January. Below that, you will find all the titles coming to the platform, along with when they will be available to stream.

‘The Traitors’ (Season 4)

New Episodes Starting January 8th

A binge-worthy game of deception, The Traitors has become quite the global phenomenon, with the original Dutch series spun off across the globe, including here in the US. With a large cash prize on the line, a group of strangers must work together to complete a series of tasks. The catch? There are those among them who are chosen to be traitors, given mini-missions and tasked with stealing money for themselves under the watchful eye of the “faithfuls” who are trying to win the money to split.

The Traitors has become a must-watch, highly talked-about reality/competition TV series, with its blend of inventive team games underscored by deception and paranoia. This season once again boasts a diverse cast of competitors from other TV shows and sports, including Monét X Change (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Natalie Anderson (Survivor, The Amazing Race), Lisa Rinna (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, actress), and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, ensuring that there will be early fan favorites. The first three episodes of The Traitors will be available on Peacock on January 8, 2026, followed by new episodes weekly.

‘The Hunger Games’ (2012)

Available to Stream January 14th

The Hunger Games has entered pop culture in a big way, much to the chagrin of Quentin Tarantino. Indeed, few are unfamiliar with the dystopian saga in which teenagers from various districts are forced to fight to the death in a televised survival competition. Based on Suzanne Collins’s books, the film franchise has brought in over $3.3 billion worldwide, making it one of the most profitable franchises of the modern era before even considering merchandising.

If you were going to see The Hunger Games, you would have already seen the film, but what makes this addition to Peacock a stand-out for the month is that fans are getting more than just the first entry in the franchise. All the films are being added to Peacock: The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The Hunger Games and its sequels will be available to stream on Peacock on January 14, 2026.

‘Ponies’ (Season One)

Available to Stream on January 15th

Set in 1977 Moscow, Ponies follows two American Embassy secretaries – Bea Grant (Emilia Clarke) and Twila Hasbeck (Haley Lu Richardson) – whose lives are upended when their partners are killed under mysterious circumstances. The two are then thrust into the world of espionage themselves, volunteering to be on-the-ground CIA operatives. Together, they must navigate the Russian criminal and political system in a bid to learn the truth about what happened to their husbands.

Created by Susanna Fogel (Booksmart, The Flight Attendant, and The Spy Who Dumped Me) and writer David Iserson (SNL, United States of Tara, New Girl), Ponies looks to offer up the perfect blend of espionage thriller and comedic wit. The result is poised to be the ideal blend of nail-biting drama and light humor, making for an utterly infectious TV series. All eight episodes of the first season of Ponies will be available to stream on Peacock on January 15, 2026.

‘Twisters’ (2025)

Available to Stream January 15th

A standalone sequel to the 1996 Classic, Twisters follows storm chaser Kate Carter (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who has traded in life as a storm chaser after the death of her friends for an office job in New York. Kate, however, reluctantly returns to the field at the request of an old colleague, Javi (Anthony Ramos), who needs help testing a new machine. It is here she also meets Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a charismatic YouTuber/storm chaser. Together, the three find themselves up against an outbreak of violent tornadoes.

A surprise box office smash, Twisters would bring in over $372 million worldwide, blowing past expectations and cementing the film as one of the best natural disaster movies of the modern era. Indeed, director Lee Isaac Chung tapped into the nostalgia of the original movie while also offering a new take on the formula, delivering a spectacle-heavy action movie that resonated with fans. Twisters is available to stream on Peacock on January 15, 2026.
