Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole spoke about her “weird” first date after her much-publicized split from the Chiefs tight end. In a conversation with Harry Jowsey on his podcast Boyfriend Material, the fashion influencer opened up about her feelings like never before.
Nicole revealed she went on a post-split date that started well but quickly went downhill. She explained, “One guy took me on a date to the park once. Like a picnic in the park. I thought that was so romantic, and I have never done that in LA.”
Continuing further, she shared, “He had sushi, a speaker to play music, and a couple of card games, if we wanted to play.” Jowsey instantly remarked, “That’s so nice.” Nicole stated, “So freaking cute. Like 10 stars. Hit it out of the park.”
Jowsey asked if the date led to marriage, and the fashion influencer replied sadly, “No, unfortunately.” “He then asked me if I wanted to come back to his place for like a little nightcap, a little cocktail by his fire pit. We could do s’mores, right? We go back to his house, and he turns on YouTube instrumentals and starts freestyling. For two hours. He was holding me f*****g hostage.”
Nicole revealed she frantically started texting her girlfriends to bail her out of the situation. She said, “I was literally texting my girlfriends like, ‘What am I being punked right now?’ It literally was like the perfect, cutest date. I should have known that things were going to go left, though.”
Nicole revealed that she felt hopeful because the date started off well, and she had her hopes set high. The 34-year-old confessed how her date called her his “wife” on their very first encounter. Jowsey asked if she ever saw him again, and Nicole replied, “No. We are not connecting anymore. The vibes are weird.”
Jowsey reiterated that Nicole’s date was “really weird,” and she confessed she feels “bad for the guy.”
