Gizelle Bryant nailed it when she suggested that Ashley Darby flirting with Mauricio Umansky was awkward. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast were in Aspen, Colorado when they ran into Kyle Richards’ estranged husband during a recent episode.
Egged on by Stacey Rusch, Ashley started an interaction with Mauricio Umansky. It was noticeably flirty enough that Gizelle commented on the matter. And the presumption that Kyle wouldn’t be ok with what was filmed was spot on.
Now, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG has commented on the matter.
Kyle Richards says “if” Ashley Darby was flirting with Mauricio Umansky, it was “weird”
Kyle was taking fan questions during an Amazon Live on January 21. A fan asked if she had seen the interaction between Ashley and Mauricio. The RHOBH star had not seen the episode, but heard about it in the Bravo-sphere.
“We actually talked about this the other day. I don’t know how it was portrayed because I haven’t seen the scenes — I saw something on Watch What Happens Live — but, I mean, if she was flirting, that’s weird,” Kyle responded.
She continued, “I would never — I was talking about this yesterday — be able to date anybody that any of the women, Housewives, dated or were married to. That’s just weird. I don’t know. I’m like, ‘You’re embarrassing yourself doing that on camera.’ He just bumped into them, by the way.”
Kyle revealed that Gizelle texted “right away” when it happened. The RHOP original star “felt uncomfortable” and wanted to fill her fellow Bravolebrity in on the situation.
“She was like, ‘Just so you know, we just ran into Mauricio and blah, blah, blah,’” Kyle shared. “I was like, ‘All good.’ I couldn’t care, you know. Everyone can do what they want. I just thought, ‘That’s embarrassing.’ I don’t know. Like I said, I didn’t really see it though, so I shouldn’t really comment.”
The rumors about Kyle and Mauricio getting back together over the holidays seems to be just that. Rumors.
