Holidaymakers yearning for sunshine this summer, may want to prepare to get packing earlier this year. On the Beach has launched a fresh selection of “Perks” for sunseekers, aimed at rewarding early bookers with enhanced value for their 2026 holidays. 

The travel specialists are encouraging customers to lock in next summer’s trips this January, with competitive prices already listed on the website. Travellers can select from an extensive range of destinations and resorts, with deposits starting at £30 per person.

Those who reserve a 2026 holiday at least 60 days prior to departure can access benefits via the On the Beach app within 10 days of making their booking. Holidaymakers should watch for the “Perk Pill” symbol whilst browsing – if it’s absent, the benefit doesn’t apply.

Those selecting qualifying five-star packages can additionally benefit from free airport lounge access upon departure. Please note that standard lounge operating times apply, and access at Stansted will be unavailable from 1 March 2026.

Travellers booking eligible four-star holiday packages can enjoy free gadget insurance for the duration of their trip. This covers items such as phones, tablets, and headphones up to £3,000, with a £50 excess.

Those opting for three-star holidays can take advantage of weather protection on trips to Spain (including the islands), Greece, Turkey and Portugal. If it rains for two or more consecutive days – excluding the first rainy day – customers will receive £50 back.

Groups of seven or more travelling together will receive a £50 Amazon voucher for the lead booker as a thank-you for organising. And for travellers arranging a city break or short stay, free phone insurance is included, covering loss, theft, or damage up to £1,000 for the duration of the trip, with a £50 excess.

At this time of year, many travel companies start to roll out major deals on sunshine escapes for 2026. Over at Love Holidays, budget-friendly breaks start from £189 per person, with deposits from just £19pp as part of the brand’s newly launched winter sale.

Elsewhere at TUI, travellers can save up to £500 off selected holidays, while British Airways is offering some impressive discounts on business class flights and long haul holidays.
