The highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Mobile Suit Gundam just added another member to its star-studded cast. Featuring Sydney Sweeney (The Housemaid) in the lead role, Gundam is an upcoming sci-fi action blockbuster that will bring a classic franchise to life. From giant mech suits to intergalactic battles, the film is poised to become one of the more ambitious live-action anime adaptations in recent memory.
Deadline reports that Jason Clarke (The Last Frontier) has joined the cast of Gundam, which officially includes Sweeney and Noah Centineo (Street Fighter). As previously reported, Netflix is set to distribute the film, produced by Legendary Pictures and Bandai Namco Filmworks.
