Titans occupies a strange corner of the DC fandom, often proving to be far wilder than it has any right to be. The series was initially conceived as a grittier version of the Teen Titans meant to launch a new universe of DC titles on the short-lived DC Universe streaming service. While Titans survived DC Universe's inevitable demise, its tone has undergone a massive shift over the course of its four seasons. As a result of the growing pains as the show developed from a gritty reboot to a by-the-numbers superhero action story, Titans has seen plenty of baffling moments that must be seen in order to be believed.
