Though its most recent season proved to be its best-reviewed yet, Mayor of Kingstown is officially going to end with season 5.
Per Deadline, Paramount+ has decided to renew Mayor of Kingstown for season 5, which will also mark the end of the Taylor Sheridan-co-created crime series. In addition to the renewal, the final season will only consist of eight episodes instead of 10, making it the shortest season of the series yet. Jeremy Renner is confirmed to be returning to lead season 5, while Edie Falco is also reportedly attached to continue her new role of warden Nina Hobbs.
