Red Dead Redemption 2 players can currently grab some extra content at no additional cost. The only catch is that you have just 24 hours (or less, depending on when you actually read this) so you might want to hurry up and check it out while you can.
A bunch of new free content is available now for all Red Dead Redemption 2 players via the game’s Online mode, which is a fantastic multiplayer offering that doesn’t get nearly enough love. While GTA Online is milked to within an inch of its life with substantial new updates, Red Dead Online has never really been afforded the same level of care. With that said, there’s usually something new to do, you just have to check in at the right times.

It’ll be worth it
Between January 6 and February 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 players can log in to Red Dead Online for a whole raft of brand-new missions and rewards. For the next month, you can earn 3X RDO$, Role XP, and XP by turning in Regular Bounties, and 2X RDO$, Gold, and XP for Legendary and Infamous Bounties.
Within this, there are also limited-time weekly rewards, with the first coming to an end tomorrow (January 12). That means you have roughly 24 hours left to turn in three Bounty Missions to get the San Luis Shore Treasure Map.
Here are all the weekly rewards for the month, including the one about to expire.
- January 6 – 12: Complete three Bounty Missions to receive a Reward for the San Luis Shore Treasure Map
- January 13 – 19: Complete all your Bounty Hunter Daily Challenges to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Bounty Hunter Role Item
- January 20 – 26: Complete three Bounty Missions to receive an Offer for 50% off a Weapon
- January 27 – February 2: Players Rank 50 or Higher can log in to receive the beige Torranca Coat
Red Dead Online Is Worth A Look
Give it a go
Even with the fact that Red Dead Online doesn’t get anywhere near the same support as GTA Online, it’s a fantastic multiplayer game that lets you engage with Red Dead Redemption 2‘s gorgeous open world in a completely new way. If you’ve never given it a try, now is definitely the perfect time to get involved.
