While none of the characters are given actual names, the film stars Nicolas Cage as The Passenger and Joel Kinnaman as The Driver. 5 Joel Kinnaman as The Driver

Opposite Cage, Joel Kinnaman stars as The Driver. As Cage’s character holds him at gunpoint, he will be left navigating a web of mystery and danger as he’s unwillingly put in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. A versatile actor, Kinnaman is known for his roles as Stephen Holder in The Killing, Alex Murphy in RoboCop, and Rick Flag in Suicide Squad.

4 Kaiwi Lyman as The Colleague

The Colleague is a friend of The Driver who gets tangled up in the sinister events surrounding The Passenger. This character exists to raise questions: is he really The Driver’s friend? What is he hiding? Who is he really loyal to? The Colleague is played by Kaiwi Lyman, who is known for his roles as Tony Z Zapata in Den of Thieves, as Noah in Don’t Look Deeper, and as Gutterball in American Horror Story.

3 Alexis Zollicoffer as The Waitress

During a pivotal diner scene, The Driver and The Passenger are served by The Waitress, whose interactions with the main characters add more tension and provide crucial moments of revelation to the audience.
