UK travel company collapses into administration – all flights cancelled | UK | Travel

A UK travel agency that specialised in trips to North America has officially ceased trading, reportedly cancelling all flights and holiday packages booked through the company. Simply Florida Travel Ltd, based in Glasgow, offered holiday packages to destinations including Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios, New York City, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Miami, and various cruises. According to Companies House records, the independent travel agent filed to be struck off the register on October 13, 2025.

The company was officially dissolved on January 6, and subsequently ceased trading as an ATOL-protected travel provider on January 20. Its website is no longer available.

The Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing scheme (ATOL) is a UK financial protection scheme managed by the Civil Aviation Authority that protects consumers who book package holidays or flights with participating travel firms.

According to the ATOL website, Simply Florida Travel Ltd operated under a franchise arrangement with The Travel Trust Association (‘TTA’).

The ATOL website states that consumers who require assistance regarding their booking, should contact TTA directly by emailing customerservices@thetravelnetworkgroup.co.uk.

The description for the travel agency reads on Facebook: “Simply Florida Travel not just another travel agent, we are here to build your dream trip, whether it is 2 weeks in one hotel and visiting the parks or multiple hotels and different experiences we can help you with it all.”

In its last social media update in May 2025, Simply Florida Travel promoted a “2026 Ultimate City & Falls Escape” to New York, Toronto, and Niagara Falls, scheduled from January 8 to January 15, 2026. The 7-night trip was priced from £1,279 per person, included hotel stays in each city, a free NYC Savings Card, and required a deposit of just £125 per traveller.

The post added: “Tag your travel buddy and start planning your bucket list 2026 escape now!”
