Welcome back, Below Deck Down Under fans! Last week left us on a cliffhanger, thanks to Alesia’s frustrations. This week, the cast of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City finally exits, leaving a shockingly high, yet well-deserved tip in their wake. But when the yachties finally let loose to celebrate, drama quickly arrives, as seen in BDDU Season 4 Episode 3.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode?
Goodbye fighting, makeup stains, cucumbers, and unicorns, and hello freedom. Even still, this crew can’t enjoy their best, RHOSLC-free lives. Following two failed romantic interactions and one game gone wrong, everyone remains on edge. Not helping matters, a hot, familiar face is coming back aboard, much to Jenna’s dismay.
Alesia decides her fate
For the sake of her career, Captain Jason wisely convinces Alesia to stay on board. Outside, Daisy and Mike prepare for their guests’ final breakfast. Mike’s a fan of Daisy, not only for her work ethic, but also because she’s his ideal height … and blonde.
Alesia returns to the galley to help Ben prep, while Captain Jason heads to the sundeck. He’s leading their guests through a yoga session. Not shockingly, their namaste is lacking, so he cuts his lesson short. Ben likely feels his pain because in the galley, Alesia’s admitting that she “doesn’t want to be here.”
“Talk to me,” Ben pleads. Alesia does, and after, Ben apologizes for “being a bit of a d*ck to work with.” In response, Alesia apologizes for being “useless.” For now, all is well.
Just not for the ladies of RHOSLC. As they pack, Bronwyn and Meredith ceremoniously throw Britani’s unicorn overboard. However, littering in the ocean is “a fineable offense,” so João quickly retrieves it.
Captain Jason creates a franchise first

Captain Jason has an idea. He’s made anonymous comment cards for their guests, which scares Daisy a little. But she does think it’s a good idea. So, she passes his forms out before their guests head to the breakfast table, where, yet again, they immediately start fighting.
Finally, the RHOSLC gals depart, leaving “a small token” of their appreciation. Then, Daisy remembers Britani’s unicorn and chases after her with it. The crew heads inside, relieved, as their guests continue walking away, STILL fighting.
Captain Jason reads their comment cards. They loved “Magic Mike.” In the galley, love-like feelings are also present. Mike has just followed Alesia on Instagram.
During their first tip meeting, the crew cheers. Their tip “is the biggest” Captain Jason’s “ever seen in [his] life.” It’s $35,000, which they all greatly deserved. Therefore, no one has to wear the disco ball of reflection to the bar, Captain Jason says.
Ben and Alesia spiral

Jenna’s a fan of older men, like Ben, and Ben’s a fan of Jenna. Likewise, Eddy’s digging Alesia, and he’s excited to dance with her at the club.
They arrive, and Eddy immediately starts busting out his best “dad dancing” moves. Alesia joins him, matching his vibes. Back on the yacht, Captain Jason’s trauma bond emerges. He’s sitting by the hot tub, watching RHOSLC.
Sparks continue flying at the club. But when Eddy drunkenly asks Alesia to kiss him, she reveals that she has a boyfriend. Poor Eddy.
Later, the crew plays a round of marry, shag, kill in the hot tub. Daisy would kill Ben, she notes. But when Alesia also marks Ben for death, Ben responds, “I wouldn’t kill myself to spite you.”
Instead, “[Ben] would just keep myself alive, just to piss [Alesia] off,” he remarks. “You’re being a d*ck,” Daisy says. But Ben doesn’t care.
“There’s something called chef camaraderie,” he tells Alesia, “but you wouldn’t know about that, right? You might learn it one day.” Dejected, Alesia announces, “I’m not gonna be a chef, ever.” But Ben claps back, arguing, “That’s weird, because on your CV, it says chef.”
Then, Ben starts crying. Everyone’s let him down lately, including his ex-fiancé, who cheated on him with one of his friends. Daisy comforts Ben and agrees that he can sleep in a guest cabin. But she doesn’t accept a kiss from Mike, much to Mike’s embarrassment.
A familiar face joins Below Deck Down Under Season 4

In the morning, Jenna chats with Ben. She likes and understands him. But she still wants him to apologize to Alesia. Luckily, Ben’s “up for it.”
Captain Jason checks in with Alesia. They’re a stew down, she reminds him. So, either she can be a stewardess, or Captain Jason needs to find a new sous chef, she states. He’s floored, but doesn’t give in just yet.
Mike apologizes for trying to kiss Daisy. She laughs, but explains that she doesn’t date people in her department. Mike leaves, and Captain Jason takes his place.
Daisy tells him about Alesia and Ben’s fight. She’s happy for Alesia to join her team. But Captain Jason already has a new stew booked. Hopefully, this yachtie wants to try her hand in the galley, he suggests, which, yes, she thankfully does.
New guests are coming aboard. For the first time, we see the primaries at their house in Connecticut, talking about their trip. Then, Captain Jason slaps down a CV, showing the crew who his new hire is. Much to Jenna’s dismay, Ben recognizes her.
Only two weeks ago, Ben fell for her thirst traps and landed in her DMs. “The power of manifestation,” he jokes, since this female is now his sous chef. Captain Jason calls Alesia to the wheelhouse, officially turning her into a stew. Then, Ben’s new sous chef arrives, and IT’S ELANA “ELLIE” DUBAICH from Below Deck Mediterranean.
Gracious. Here we go.
Below Deck Down Under continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
