The 42-year-old Omaha man David was born deaf. He started an online relationship with 31-year-old Sheila, who lives in Cebu, Philippines. David went to meet Sheila in person for the first time after two years of dating on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. David yearned for companionship since it was hard for him to communicate with others.
For a while, he’s lived in Nebraska alone. David wants marriage and family. Six years ago, he fell in love with a deaf woman. David broke up with his girlfriend because she cheated on him. On 90DF: B90, David has trouble communicating with Sheila, who doesn’t know American Sign Language. He hired an interpreter, but Aimee was young and talented, which made Sheila jealous. One day after David went to meet Sheila’s parents at their house, which was destroyed in a fire and typhoon, her mother Ma Remedios fell down the stairs and died.

When David’s girlfriend cheated on him, it broke his heart, but David went ahead and kept going. He’s happy that he never gave up, and found his true love, Sheila. When he first saw Sheila’s picture, it got his heart beating. David’s really into Sheila. The two met on Facebook. It was a group for deaf singles. Sheila was born with hearing. However, when she was six years old, she started having hearing problems. Sheila was learning ASL for David, but her English was okay, so they began communicating via text.

David admitted he wants to start a family of his own with Sheila in the future.
