Viewers are able to find some great shows on Disney+ that can be finished in a weekend if they have the time. The streaming service has also created some great miniseries that anyone can get addicted to without wondering if they will be canceled too soon. Either way, Disney+ has some addicting stories that viewers won’t be able to stop watching once they start. Here are the 10 best TV series on Disney+ that can be binged in one weekend.
10 National Treasure: Edge of History
National Treasure: Edge of History is based on the National Treasure film franchise. The show follows the treasure hunter Jess Venezuela after she is given a clue about a centuries-old treasure that has a connection to her father. Along with her friends, she sets out on the hunt to find treasures from Spanish conquistadors hidden by a network of Incan, Mayan, and Aztec women. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Justin Bartha and Harvey Keitel reprise their roles from the movies, and the series features newcomers Zuri Reed, Jordan Rodrigues, Antonio Cipriano, Jake Austin Walker, Lyndon Smith, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
9 Moon Knight
Marvel is really able to stretch into the weird, especially with Moon Knight. Moon Knight is a superhero who suffers from multiple personality disorder. Steven Grant is a mild-mannered museum worker who shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. Enemies from Spector’s past start to come after them, and they must navigate their two identities if they want to live. Moon Knight also gets thrown into the world of powerful Egyptian gods and finds the source of his power.
8 Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a prequel series where a viewer will need to have prior Star Wars knowledge of The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith before watching the show. The show follows Kenobi after his falling out with Anakin who becomes Vador in the last prequel movie. Young Princess Leia is kidnapped, and her parents ask Kenobi to help get her back. Through his journey to find the young princess, Kenobi faces Darth Vader, who has held a grudge against him ever since he abandoned him at the Mustafar’s shores.
7 Doogie Kamealoha M.D.
Disney+ has created a heartwarming and at times comical series with Doogie Kamealoha M.D. Dr. Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha is a teenage prodigy that is trying to handle her medical career while also juggling being a 16-year-old girl. Her co-workers have aptly named her “Doogie” after the 90s TV series since her genius is a surprise to most patients and colleagues. The show also focuses on her family where her father and career-driven mother think she is growing up too fast and needs to slow down. Each season, Lahela paves her own path with the help of her ohana.
6 Andor
Andor is a prequel to Rogue One and tells the story of the rebel spy, Cassian Andor. The Star Wars universe seems to take a grittier turn with the show, but it seems to have paid off for Disney. TIME calls the show grim and murderous as the spies can’t use the Force to get the job done, and feels as if audiences are sleeping on the prequel series. The series focuses on the rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets become involved in the impending war. Andor is filled with danger, deception, and espionage, where Cassian becomes the rebel hero the galaxy needs.
5 Big Shots
Marvyn Korn is a legendary coach for men’s college basketball in Big Shots. Coach Korn must work with the Sirens, a high school girls basketball team, to turn them into champions not only to restore his tarnished name but to turn the team around. He also uses this time to rekindle his relationship with his daughter. Big Shots sets up a drama series that has viewers wanting more with each heartfelt episode.
4 Loki
Marvel decided to give fans a show about their favorite villain in the MCU with Loki. The show is a wild ride as Loki travels through different timelines while truly sealing his character as the god of mischief. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, an alternate version of Loki is seen stealing the Tesseract, which brings him to the Time Variance Authority, or TVA for short. The TVA is a bureaucratic organization that exists out of time and space to monitor the timeline in case any variances occur causing massive destruction to the timeline.
3 WandaVision
A blend of classic television is brought to viewers with WandaVision. Wanda and Vision decide to take on suburban life with their two kids in this new series. WandaVision seems to have a sitcom feel, but a mystery starts to unravel about how Wanda and Vision even got to the little town. Their reality moves through different decades of sitcom and television tropes that eventually lead to modern day, when viewers learn what Wanda has truly been up to since Avengers: Endgame.
2 High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
Disney has decided to expand on the High School Musical universe with High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The show is a mockumentary series about a high school in Utah that is putting on a stage musical version of the classic Disney movie starring Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The show also takes place in a fictional version of East High, which is coincidentally where they shot the original High School Musical.
