Still worshipping idols who proved EVIL

Hand it to Sen. Bernie Sanders, he’s a busy socialist beaver: The night before he hits Sunday’s “tax the rich” rally in The Bronx, he’ll co-headline a “No Kings” festival in St. Paul, Minn.

And the lineup there gives you a hint of how Sanders stays so vigorous: He’ll be joined on stage by Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez and Jane Fonda.

At 76, The Boss is the baby in that group, but Bernie is second youngest, a spry 84; the ladies are 85 and 88.

Plenty of folks have noted the prevalence of white (and blue) hair in “No Kings” crowds, and good for all concerned: Regular light cardio is a great way to stay healthy as you age.

But all the younger folks still on the Bernie train might want to think about the fact that his ideas are also a blast from the ’60s past.

This is the crew who romanticized Fidel Castro and Che Guevera.

At least Fonda eventually regretted her support for the Viet Cong.

Sanders himself never learned: A decade ago, he insisted Venezuelan goon Hugo Chávez was building a better society — when the monster was destroying his nation.

Let these solidly senior citizens enjoy wallowing in the days of their activist youth, but realize how painfully dated their ideology has become.
