Princess Beatrice can’t seem to process her parents’ scandal. The daughter of the former Prince Andrew is having a hard time comprehending his ties to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He and Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson were stripped of their royal titles last year, with Andrew arrested on his 66th birthday in February. Because of their ties to Jeffrey, Sarah and Andrew were evicted from the Royal Lodge.
The former royals’ eldest daughter is reportedly “distraught” about this matter and worried about what it could mean for her family. Beatrice has two children with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The royal reportedly “can’t come to terms” with the relationship
Although she is a blameless victim in her parents’ scandal, Beatrice is aparently a nervous wreck. Royal commentator Helena Chard tells OK! Magazine that the Princess “can’t come to terms with negative revelations, which have certainly taken a toll.” This scandal has her worried about what she and her family could be subject to as a result.
Another royal expert said this week that navigating through all the bad publicity her parents have had has taken an emotional toll on Beatrice. Both she and her sister, Princess Eugenie, were said to be heartbroken over their father’s famous arrest last month. Eugenie is reportedly not on speaking terms with Andrew.
Andrew was ousted from royal life despite consistently denying any wrongdoing. The late Virginia Giuffre was said to have been trafficked to him by Jeffrey years ago. Sarah, meanwhile, had an email asking the late financier to marry her. Reports indicate that Beatrice is trying to be supportive of her dad. Balancing that while maintaining a good relationship with the royals has not been easy.
Despite their parents’ scandal, Beatrice and Eugenie held onto their royal titles. Beatrice is hoping to maintain a close relationship with her cousin, Prince William, and the two are reportedly always on good terms. William is the heir to the British throne.
