It’s a new month, which means plenty of new Xbox Game Pass releases are on the way. March saw a host of memorable RPGs being added to the service, including Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Cyberpunk 2077. If you’ve somehow managed to beat those massive games already, then don’t worry, because April has plenty to keep you busy. A new batch of games, including some excellent RPGs, are on their way.
The announcement comes from the official Xbox site, which shared the Wave 1 titles being added to Game Pass in April 2026. This includes some really nice day-one releases like Kiln while also offering up the Pixel Remaster version of Final Fantasy 4. In fact, there’s a little something for everyone arriving in April, but one RPG in particular is being offered to a wider range of subscribers starting on April 16.
Oblivion Remastered Is Coming To More Game Pass Tiers
Of the various titles confirmed for April 2026 on Xbox Game Pass, one of the standouts is The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. The RPG from Bethesda was previously available with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but it’s being made available to members of the Premium tier starting on April 16, 2026.
This is a pretty nice win for Game Pass subscribers, even if it means that Essential members sadly won’t be able to play it for free right now. The original RPG was Game of the Year in 2006, and this remastered version includes graphical upgrades, quality-of-life improvements, and the DLC for Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine all in one package. It’s an incredible RPG that definitely deserves your attention if you haven’t played it yet.
If you’re looking for an RPG to really sink your teeth into, then Oblivion Remastered is perfect. Although you can beat the main story rather quickly (around 17 hours), it’ll take closer to 50 hours if you do a lot of side content and play through the two DLCs.
HowLongToBeat lists the time for Completionists at 93.5 hours, which feels a bit low honestly, especially if you’re vying for all Achievements and going through the DLC. You can easily spend 100 hours in this game without even really trying.
If you’re on the fence, then don’t be. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is fantastic, and even if you played the original game 20 years ago, this is the perfect time to check it out again. Thankfully, even more Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have the chance to play it at no additional cost once the RPG comes to Premium next week.
