The Ontario Tower Buzzers, a single-A Dodgers affiliate, played their inaugural home opener on April 2, losing 7-5 to the Lake Elsinore Storm at the new $100- million, 6,500-seat Ontario Field. The aviation-themed stadium hosted festivities including a flyover, a ribbon cutting and performances, with pitcher Brady Smith throwing the first pitch.
