Sarah Ferguson fears return to the UK amid scandal, per source
Instead of considering a return to the UK, Radar Online exclusively reported that Sarah Ferguson has been staying at a luxury ski resort in the Austrian Alps that allegedly costs around $3,000 a night.
Sources close to Ferguson told the outlet that her time abroad has more to it than her desire to remain private and out of sight. As such, a friend of hers claimed, “Sarah is genuinely uneasy about the prospect of returning to the UK, and that anxiety has only deepened over time,” adding, “For now, she has been relying heavily on a tight circle of trusted friends to steady herself while she works through the fallout.” Additionally, the friend said that Ferguson knows she cannot avoid the situation forever and is aware that she will eventually have to address the elephant in the room.
Another insider pointed to what they described as a lack of support from the royal family during the fallout, which reportedly “has been especially painful for her to process,” and “It has reinforced a feeling of isolation at a time when she had hoped for at least some acknowledgment or understanding.”
Moreover, the insider claimed that Ferguson feels the reaction has gone too far, because the scandal allegedly does not “accurately represent who she is today or the values she now holds.”
As of now, Sarah Ferguson is in retreat at the ski resort and is weighing how and when she can return to the UK again.
