The Valley’s Danny Booko and his wife Nia Sanchez are struggling to parent their young family of “four under four.”
When the couple took a cast trip to San Diego, their newborn in tow, tensions in their relationship were obvious. Not only was Nia “on the verge of burnout” after giving birth to her fourth child in four years, but she was frustrated by her husband’s lack of support.
“I feel like there’s certain times where Daniel and I aren’t really, like, attuned as much as I’d like us to be,” Nia revealed in a confessional, amid their bickering. “I don’t know, I feel off with it.”

Even a group trip to an amusement park wasn’t as lighthearted as it might have been in the past. After leaving the baby with their nanny, Danny called his wife’s excitement over the outing as “performative.”
Insisting that wasn’t the case, Nia accused her husband of being “a little critical” of her. “Literally, this is how my natural demeanor is without children, but I’m always with kids,” she said. “I’m happy to be with you and not have any kids attached to me for a few minutes.”
“It can be frustrating because we have the smallest windows of time when we’re kid-free,” she told a producer. “I feel like we’re not quite on the same page energy-wise … It’s a little disheartening when I’m just trying to connect with my man.”
For Danny’s part, he admitted that things have changed after having four children. In addition to newborn Adelaide, their family includes son Asher, 4, and two-year-old twins Isabella and Zariah.
“Before children, when Nia and I would go on trips, there’s not much responsibility,” Danny confessed. “We’d have the freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want. That’s just not the case when you have kids.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
