Dwayne Johnson Gives Moana-Loving Kids the Ultimate Surprise

Dwayne Johnson is once again melting hearts online after making a sweet gesture to a group of schoolchildren whose extreme love and appreciation for “Moana” went viral. The “Red Notice” actor recently reacted to a video of students from St. Gregory Primary School in Sudbury, England.

They were seen performing “You’re Welcome,” the fan-favorite song from Disney’s animated film. This was a super special moment for him. After all, Johnson famously voiced Maui in the original 2016 movie and sang the catchy track himself.

After watching the energetic tribute from the St. Gregory Primary School in Sudbury, England, the Hollywood star, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, decided to surprise these adorable and talented children hugely. To do so, he invited the students, along with their friends and families, to attend a special and private screening of Disney’s upcoming live-action “Moana” on July 10. This move was met with applause from his fans.

According to WrestleZone, the surprise came after the students’ tribute video gained attention online and reached Johnson directly. Sharing the announcement on social media, Johnson took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “What can I say except ~ YOU’RE WELCOOOOME To the awesome students at St. Gregory Primary School in Sudbury, UK ?? I LOVED your video!!”

He also revealed that the entire theater had been rented out for the students. The “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle‬” actor added that popcorn, candy, and drinks would all be covered by none other than him.

Furthermore, Johnson kept his signature humor intact. He joked, “I apologize to your parents in advance for all the sugar ??”. The heartfelt gesture quickly won over fans online. Many praised the actor for taking the time to create a special memory for the children. Johnson ended the message with an encouraging note for the students. He reminded them to keep working hard in school while joking that they were all “taller than Kevin Hart.”
