Supercharge Your Drive with the Maserati MCXtrema

Recently unveiled at The Quail, during the prestigious Monterey Car Week 2023, the Maserati MCXtrema. The limited-edition, 730-hp track-only hypercar from The House of Trident is the brand’s most powerful and extraordinary car. The new creation is designed for the track so that the distinct roar of a Maserati engine can be heard at full throttle.

Only 62 units of the state-of-the-art beast of a machine will be produced, dedicated to a selected, highly discerning clientèle. “Maserati MCXtrema was created to offer an incredibly exclusive product that can set a new paradigm for our track cars. The project is dedicated to a selected clientèle who are particularly attentive to distinctive details, ranging from the most refined and innovative design to exceptional performance,” said Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO.

Maserati MCXtremaThe hypercar pushes the boundaries of automotive performance building off inspiration from the Maserati MC20 base model, which marked the beginning of the brand’s new era. Made entirely in Italy, its bold design and exceptional capabilities began under the title ‘Project 24’, designed to impress and ignite passion for extreme racing.

“MCXtrema embodies the sporting spirit typical of Maserati’s DNA, a declaration of a new pathway for our brand, devoted to superlative manufacturing and able to stand out in the world of luxury engine production with uncompromising performance,” continued Grasso.

Set to undoubtedly become a collector’s classic, the MCXtrema is powered by its innovative twin-turbo 3.0-L V6 Nettuno engine, finely tuned to achieve maximum power. The partnership between Centro Stile and the Maserati engineering team led to minimal ride height and a fully flat underfloor which led to superior track control and supreme aerodynamics.

From its lightweight full-composite bodywork to polycarbonate windshield and side windows, the design is as powerful as the hypercar’s performance. Its interior design presents wild racing pleasure with its streamlined aesthetics, racing seat, and carbon and aluminum steering wheel with a five-inch central display, buttons, rotary selectors, and ergonomic grip.

Along with Ohlins’ four-way adjustable dampers and adjustable anti-roll bars, another unique feature is that this car has air jacks and an adjustable wing.
