Rosie O’Donnell Turned Donald Trump’s Fake Diagnosis Back on Him

Donald Trump’s AI video depicting him as a doctor treating his critics has drawn a sharp response from Rosie O’Donnell. The comedian fired back, saying it is Trump who is “quite ill.” The clip features an AI version of Trump diagnosing his critics with “Trump derangement syndrome.”

Donald Trump shared a 90-second AI video on Truth Social on July 2. The clip shows Trump dressed as a doctor treating celebrities who have criticized him in the past, including comedian and talk show host Rosie O’Donnell.

“Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS?” the AI version of Trump says in the video, referring to “Trump derangement syndrome.” The president has frequently used the pejorative term to criticize his opponents.

Moments later, the AI version of Trump presents a treatment plan for “TDS,” saying, “turn off fake news, say your prayers, and if you ever feel anxious, have a Diet Coke like me and you’ll see a difference.”

The video also features several celebrities whom Trump has publicly criticized in the past, including Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert De Niro, John Leguizamo, Edward Norton, and Julia Roberts.

Rosie O’Donnell responded to the video with a sharp rebuttal. Speaking with The Guardian, just a day after the post was shared, the comedian said Trump is “quite ill – and getting worse daily.” She added, “The 25th amendment exists for exactly this reason. Remove. Impeach. Convict.”

This is not the first time Trump has shared AI-generated content that sparked discussion. Earlier this year, he posted an AI-generated image on Truth Social depicting himself as a Jesus Christ-like figure. The image showed him appearing to bless or heal a man lying in a hospital bed while a woman looked on with her hands raised in prayer alongside other people. The post prompted widespread criticism, with some social media users describing it as “blasphemy.”
