Expert analyzes how Prince Harry’s podcast appearance would’ve appealed to Meghan Markle
Prince Harry’s recent guest appearance on the “Joe Marler Will See You Now” podcast would reportedly have appealed to his wife, Meghan Markle. As reported by The Daily Express, during the new podcast episode, the Duke of Sussex went on to discuss a range of topics. They allegedly included the Invictus Games, exercise, trauma, and more. The discussion further covered the Prince’s grooming routine, work, and also his kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to the news outlet, while a part of the conversation was serious, there were several elements of humor.
Nick Ede, a royal expert, told the outlet that this appearance by Prince Harry on the podcast displayed a different side of the Duke of Sussex. According to him, this side would have appealed to his now-wife, Meghan Markle, back in the initial days of their relationship. The expert said to the news outlet, “This is exactly the sort of appearance” that the Duke of Sussex needed to improve his public image.
Nick Ede further went on to say that Prince Harry “has so often been seen through the lens of legal battles, family tensions and serious interviews.” However, this appearance, according to Ede, showed a “relaxed and genuinely funny side of him.” The expert continued, “It reminded people of the Prince Harry many connected with years ago, someone warm, self-deprecating and able to laugh at himself, which is what Meghan saw in him too.”
