The actress wore a black Coach shirt but left several of its top buttons undone. The styling created a plunging neckline and allowed her delicate black lace bra to peek through from underneath.
According to her stylist Samantha McMillen, Fanning’s bra came from Fleur du Mal. The lingerie featured intricate black lace and scalloped detailing along the cups, which remained visible through the opening of her shirt. Rather than concealing the lingerie, the undone buttons incorporated the bra into the overall look.
The “Maleficent” star contrasted the black layers with a vivid red Coach leather pencil skirt. The high-waisted design featured gold-tone hardware and fell around her knees, bringing a bold burst of color to the ensemble.
